Pachinko is a fantastic read. Min Jin Lee is very thoughtful and a true role model for Asian Americans.

Thank you, great interview. Pachinko came to me by accident, and I haven't seen the TV series. I was blown away. Like Min Jin Lee said, this is a story that needs to be told. It was an honor to read this book! Looking forward to reading more.

Seeing all these people at the book signing brought tears to my eyes, because I felt so connected to them through our shared love for this book, for these characters. What I loved most about the book is the empathy and care with which it is written. It helped me find this kind of empathy within myself again. There is so much wisdom in the way Min Jin Lee writes and talks. Something to strive for in life. Thank you for this great interview.

It is a lack of consideration about what is love. They send their child to 학원 because they love them. but lack of consideration means that at 학원, 학교 they destroy child's self esteem and result in the twist of personal character who prioritize the competition first. One ward that they make monster like Frankenstein.
