From hot 97 to 105.1 I literally remember the transition from Ed Lover in the morning to the Bkfst Club 😢 It was the end of an era and the dawn of a new day…..No more morning roll call☎️ “Whats up yall, whatcha gotta say, who’s on the phone with Ed, Lisa & Dre”…………📞
"What's up y'all? What you gotta say? Who's on the phone with Ed, Lisa, and Dre.?" Man I used to LOVE the Roll Call. & Ed can freestyle something serious.

I think about this all the time with people from the past. Like donnie Simpson, Free, Fab 5 Freddy, all need national platforms or seen on a regular basis

Whoever is responsible for getting Ed Lover on the Breakfast club, thank you! I used to listen to the Ed Lover show every morning on my walkman while walking to P.S. 14 in Staten Island. Listening to His voice again on radio brought back fond memories of my childhood 😊😊 thanks BFC
I like what Ed Lover stated about never ever staying in one box. Expand your brand and never be afraid to try different things to reach your goals. The WBLS staff members past and present were great role models for current black young radio to broadcasters to respect because, like Ed Lover said, they paved the way for their success.

I don’t know who the young lady is filling in for Jess Hilarious but she’s a great addition to TBC and truthfully, a better fit for the team. She’s a more informed and curious woman who has a good feel for asking questions. In this game, everyone is watching and in real time, she just seems to blend in with CTG and Envy. It feels more comfortable and organic. I wouldn’t be surprised if a change gets made and Jess doesn’t return. No shade just truth. 💯🥃
