I feel like it’s not as appealing to the general public as Wa Da Da is, and that’s why it wouldn’t have been as good as a title track, but lowkey I do like mvsk a lot more 😭
This song is good, but not good enough for title track. Wa da da is the perfect song for their title since it represents their whole album really well, and as a debut, it was impactful. WADADA is a song that doesn't really stick to one genre and it's that which makes it a perfect debut song. Because they have lots of different themes in WADADA they haven't been tied to a single genre like many other groups have. Just think about groups like twice, they were tied to their original concepts for a very long time. Twice being stuck in the cute concept for litteral YEARS. Because Kep1er have such a diverse sounding song, they've been opened to many different genres rather than being stuck in one. I think that having this option is definitely worth the risk of your so called 50/50 haters. With the 50/50 thing though, I would agree on that. Since I see in a lot of different places that people find WADADA to be a grower rather than a first impact (ironically) song. Many people are shocked at the first listen, however it tends to grow on them and they fall for it. So I wouldn't say as much as 50% of people don't like it. Especially with all of its wins. :)
