Also, HotShot Blaster is off aspect if you play it normally, But when Smuggled it's ON aspect, and is the same attack buff and action cheat as Fleet Lieutenant. AND, because of Gar Saxon, it's plus THREE attack. It's kind if like three extra copies of Surprise Strike. Although it does cost 3.
I pulled a Showcase Gar Saxon at the PreRelease and have been meaning to build a deck for him. I ended up playing against Gar Saxon in a 1K event last weekend. Poor guy went 0-4 drop which also hurt my tiebreakers.
Dr Pershing seems better than follower of the way. Just draw cards. They have to kill it to stop you from drawing cards, which you don't care about because it means they're not hitting your base. And if they do hit base, you've got more cards in hand for Childsen.
Dr Pershing is one of those cards I keep taking in and then out of this deck, I can’t make up my mind on him. Sometimes I loved him and sometimes I really didn’t want to see him. Maybe I need to try him again, thank you!
@@SealeysonSW So I would like to mention that the big bad Bosk Blue bounties deck that took down the 250+ man tournament recently, ran the full 3 Pershing. As a Magic the Gathering player, it makes perfect sense. Inferno Four was the control deck's go to turn 1 play, but importantly, it doesn't draw cards. Scrying is great and all, but since resourcing something costs you a card... Well... And again, I know it seems like a waste if he died immediately, but that's 5+ life you gained by them attacking him and not your base.
@@Magidex thank you for the advice, I’ll definitely be using him more often now! He does have a lot of potential and power, maybe I just didn’t fully appreciate that.
I would take out: 3 x Crafty smuggler 1 x wilderness fighter 1 x Nina outpost constables 1 x Fen Rau And then add in: 3 x Dr Evazan 1 x The Client 1 x Gideon Hask 1 x Karagan Gor I hope this helps :)
@@Maeykr so this comes down to preference. I have now actually dropped wilderness altogether from my main deck. There is no harm in running a 3rd Lom Pyke if you need it, but it’s definitely not a must due to his low smuggle cost.

Oooo that’s a very good point! I will definitely have to add some of those in and give it a try, thank you!
I enjoyed your video with the explanation of each addition, well done 😊
Thank you!

Congrats on the showcase pull! I still haven’t pulled a showcase yet 😅 What deck did you run at the event? Sounds like he had a rough day 😳

Need to add snoke in there somewhere IMHO
I did play around with him as once he comes down he is a super strong presence that can swing games for you!
Would you play Dr Evazan instead of crafty? I honestly like the card and only once has the bounty bite back haha. f
I definitely would! The only reason I don’t use him is because I don’t have any, if you have them 100% use them! Only once? That’s pretty impressive.
How would look this deck if you had all the collection?
I would take out:
3 x Crafty smuggler
1 x wilderness fighter
1 x Nina outpost constables
1 x Fen Rau
And then add in:
3 x Dr Evazan
1 x The Client
1 x Gideon Hask

Aw sick I have all those
@@SealeysonSW so no 3rd lom pyke? or remove wilderness all together?
