I don’t think they anticipated that minorities would all have the right to accessing good education. If we enforce laws to supply everyone with the same resources, we need to start doing this altogether. I don’t understand how we’re ok with having a few people financially benefiting from a system that’s designed only for them. How is that democratic?

If the 1% of those with access to everything and they control nearly half the economy, then how can we say that this current system is working? If I’m working 2-3 jobs a week and I’m earning only a quarter of what you make doing just one job, then how am I being empowered to set a strong foundation for me and my family? I have yet to see those who don’t earn millions talk against this idea. Don’t we want to have access to the same resources like Trump and Meghan McCain have (to name a few)? How are we ok with them being rich w/out working hard for their riches, simply being born into their wealth, and have the AOCs trying to get there through sheer hard work and little access to basic resources without ever reaching those things too because of this system? Look at those people alone, they’re inept but because they have money they can become whatever they want and not be competent enough. In a world that made sense, neither of these two would be in politics because they have proven to not understand it. Obviously, the cost of going to school now is staggeringly different to the older generation. But why is that? And it’s got to do with more than just inflation. So, part of this “hyperinflation” of the increase in education costs is because education provosts costs have gone up. These salaries are 7 figures! The budget really wasn’t going to faculties and staff😕 & buildings. But also, more people from ALL walks of life now have opportunity to study at universities. Personally, previous governments didn’t anticipate this. Segregation laws made it seem like only a select few would have access to higher education. I don’t think they anticipated that minorities would all have the right to accessing good education. If we enforce laws to supply everyone with the same resources, we need to start doing this altogether. I don’t understand how we’re ok with having a few people financially benefiting from a system that’s designed only for them. How is that democratic?
