Hi Paddy, thanks for this amazing video. I have a question. every time if the user tries to access the managed apps, he has to enter the 4-digit pin, can we disable this so that he doesn't have to put the pin using any of the apps. Thanks
Thanks for your question. Unfortunately, it is not possible to disable the 4-digit pin requirement when accessing managed apps. This is an inherent part of the security measure implemented by the app. I hope this answers your question.
Hi Paddy, Thank you for this video. I have two quick questions regarding COPE. Will both profiles on a device (work and personal) have access to a separate Play Store and will the Play store in the personal profile be unmanaged and able to download whatever the user wishes to download ? Also if a wipe command is sent from Endpoint manager to a COPE device, will it just wipe the work profile from the device or will it completely factory reset the device ?
Hi Paddy, I am just setting Time to lock screen to 60 mins in policy that is available for Fully managed, dedicated, and corporate-owned work profile devices, but it's not working on my device. My device is still sleeping in between 40 - 60 sec. is there anything i'm missing?
Is there a way for me to restrict what mobiles can enrol in a COBO enrolment. For example if I want to deny phones that are below Android v11 from enrolling can I stop them but allow anything over v11
Yes, you can restrict which mobiles can enroll in a COBO enrollment. For example, if you want to deny phones that are below Android v11 from enrolling, you can stop them but allow anything over v11.
@@PaddyMaddy26 Hi ... thanks for the link but these look like they're for "Android device administrator and Android Enterprise work profile" not for Corporate-owned, Fully managed user devices (COBO) ones?
@@jongibbons9028 ohh .. i almost I forgot the question context.... You can make a enrollment profe based policies to block and apply things to only a specific manufacturer and model by creating a dynamic Ad group.... There is no direct option but you can secure them by above kind of logically creating it ...
