I agree with what vusi said on using your business's profits to finance the other business. I was a makeup artist. And I was one of the best. But I used my proceeds to finance other businesses that ended up failing. And my makeup business was struggling because I wasn't using the proceeds to finance my business and Be able to compete with my competition. I wish I had seen this video earlier.

I would grow big in Joburg I know that
Vusi, you are very correct about the 'boyfriend/Husband" Analogy. A former CEO of mine in Consulting made this mistake over and over again. The new businesses never grew and he only trained new employees to have the leave or get them fired when he was not getting the short term rewards he had expected from the new businesses.
This has been a game changer I was about to make a mistake I need to get back on the drawing board competition and learning process of new business can destroy capital and commitment of the old business. Thank you I know vusi .
In life be willing to make mistakes and learn from them, this will give you a good go because now you know and your business will reward you if you believe and love your work. Don't just do it for money or you will FAIL and it will be hard to pick the pieces and carry on.

WOW! i like the fact that Vusi is using an apartment not sure if is his or someone else's but it says that he didn't have to fork out money to rent an boardroom in Sandton where he will be paying too much just because of location that doesn't mean he doesn't have the money but its not necessary to spend much to book an expensive boardroom/hotel conference room to boost your ego. lesson learned
We possiably think about what could go wrong and not think.about what could go right in a postive mindframe , what if all your business could do really well and you did not take the risks , entrpreneurs are risk takers , higer the risiks higher the profits ,very few entrpreneurs never make up to the 1 percentere and they are the one runing multiple businesses with sucess stories its a lot easier to built a billion $ co then a million $ co , if you have only a single business your chances of failing are on higher side , if your cash cow bussiness fails what going to support you is an alternate businesses , never keep all eggs in a single basket there are higher chances of failiure , diversification is the ultimate solution to a great business
