As a teenager in 1977 just after Elvis died, I only needed Spinout, Double Trouble and Frankie and Johnny to complete my basic collection of his US catalog. Spinout and Double Trouble were re-issued along with everything else following his death but the US rights had been given to Pickwick so the original album didn't get a re-issue. It wasn't until a couple of years later I went to a sidewalk sale near my sister's that I saw a Canadian re-issue pressing. I was finally able to say I had "all the Elvis albums". That didn't last long with the tremendous amount of Elvis product that starting hitting the shelves after his death. There was no way I could keep up.
Have to agree with your good review on Frankie and Johnny. I just love it and wish I had better copies of the soundtrack. Really enjoy seeing your collection. Thank you.
Frankie and johnny was my father's second favorite elvis movie after roustabout. Plus I like it too . The director worked for johnny carson TCB STEVE please do a live chat on a Saturday. Cause on Sunday I'm at church on Sunday.
A Wonderful Vinyl Collection👌 How about a Video of the official worldwide CD Releases of these really not so high praised Elvis Movie Soundtrack Albums! There are really cool rarities on CD that was never released official on Vinyl!IMO; it could be a perfectly Part# 2 Video on this "Double Feature"...Don't you think so?!😉
That is a tough question. Leaving out the live documentaries, for songs King Creole, for drama Flaming Star, for fun it would be either Blue Hawaii or Fun in Acapulco.
Mines Roustabout Elvis had a great supporting cast. All the songs were great, and I just like the all carnival look of the movie . I sometimes think he's still out there singin' in that carnival.

Nice variety. That Australian paradise Hawaiin style LP is a later re-release. The New Zealand versions are fun to collect to.
