Found some info on dmv website.Junk removal is a private carrier. We are not for hire company per the dmv website. Is a refuse transporter considered a "private" or "for-hire" carrier? A “for-hire” motor carrier is a carrier who transports goods or property for compensation. A “private” motor carrier is a carrier who does not transport goods or property for compensation. Since refuse is considered to be the property of the carrier, after pick up, the carrier is not transporting someone else’s property for compensation. Therefore, a refuse transporter is considered a private carrier. From what I know we still need mcp but it cost more if business is for hire.

Would you ever share your price sheet so I can get a rough idea of the minimums I should be charging? I’m worried about putting my family in jeopardy by misquoting. Any advice or help is great
Interesting stuff! Searched around 50 mile radius of Boston about 15 million people( says the reach) actually population is like 3.5 million, way off lol. don't get an exact number like you do either, says Avg monthly searches is 1k-10k.
If your town has more than 150k people, it can support a junk removal company. How to make your company stand out from everyone else is the key. Everyone just competes on price

yea i remember getting all that was a pain. i think my order was DOT#, CA#,, then you can finally fill out the mcpp and mail it in to get approved :)

How do you post on marketplace? They keep telling me I'm not selling anything.
You can only get away with it for 24 hours max, sometimes you will get lucky. But your best bet is FB groups, and to just keep trying.
