Mavic 3 pro drone footage from 12th, 16th, 28th April 2024
My first attempt of flying a mavic drone so im still a very limited beginner drone pilot so no advanced moves yet just very basic manual flying.
Also my first attempt at using Lumafusion on iPad to create the video, i added some lava sound effects rather than use music as it sounds more natural although it would have been better if i had wider choice of lava sounds rather than repeating the same sounds to make it sound more irregular . I am still in the baby stages of learning all this and have already spotted a lot of my errors in this video but it is all part of the self taught learning curve i guess.
Practice makes perfect.
at 10:19 you will see people sitting on the mountain ridge who have hiked there against the official prohibitions and rules surrounding Sundhnúkur Volcano, risking their lives breathing in Toxic Suplhur Dioxide gasses unless they had proper gas masks. Im sure they had a great view but thats not for me tbh 👍 😏

title says 4k yet video only 1080p

i filmed it in 4k and exported it as 4k from lumafusion ipad, im a total newbie with TH-cam and drones and i cannot figure out why it is 1080p if that is the case? maybe some of the footage was filmed at different resolutions so it uploaded it in 1080p 🤷‍♂️ how do you find the resolution on youtube?

if you exported in 4k then maybe a youtube studio upload quality setting isn't selected correctly. Anyway the footage is good but if you'd like suggestions on quality improvements, I wouldn't worry about fancy flying yet instead work on smoothing your zoom and pans, then mellowing the transitions from just straight jump cuts, and eventually some moving drone pans and dolly zooms. Fancy moves come last. Best of luck.
