Yes, finally Omri!!! I've missed streams like that so much... You used to do them for 1-2 hours and live, those were really cool times!!!! Please do more of that if possible!? Thanks!!!
4 years watching Omri Cohen videos and never tired watching patch from scratch videos ( basics or advance ). I always learn something new. Thank a lot Cohen and best wishes for 2025
Heya Omri, it's great to see you return to the patch from scratch format. I'm echoing everybody's sentiment here to say that we've all derived an immense modular education from this format! I can't thank you enough for the inspiration over recent years.
Always so inspiring. Thank you for your seemingly effortless yet crystal clear and articulate teaching style and the tasteful, evocative sounds and textures that magically appear
Heeeeeey an Omri patch from scratch video! What a throwback! This brings me back to the days of COVID lock-down, I used to look forward to putting on my Bluetooth headphones and cooking brunch on a Saturday morning listening/watching one of these evolve as did my meal. Thanks for bringing these back! And I don't mind longer videos, BTW.
Great to have this type of videos back. I actually sold my entire euro rack two weeks ago bcs I can get my fix perfectly fine with the VCV Rack software. Let's put it to good use!
I love that you've added your lovely self to the videos! One recommendation, if you'll forgive me, is that since you're looking to the left, place yourself on the right side of the video. That way your eyes lead the viewer back into the frame instead of out of it. I love following along with these types of tutorials and the addition of an inset view of you is a definite positive step forward.
A delightful patch, and a wonderful series! I absolutely love seeing you process and think through your decisions. While module walkthroughs are valuable, seeing the process adds so much as well. Thank you!
These "on the fly" patches have always been the most inspiring for me. It's more than helpful to *watch the creative process* as you decide how to manipulate the sounds and sequences. Most of my own patches tend to be 98% VCV modules. I think the "basic" nature of the VCV modules help understand what's happening inside the other more complex modules, and I find that most of what the other complex modules do can be mimicked by using combined VCV modules. [edit] Also, the CVMIX makes a great wave folder/wave shaper by using three wave shapes from the same oscillator. It's especially good for making a really rich bass voice, and it's polyphonic.
Omri, this is cool man! This is like watching you a few years ago. I love this free-form exploration type of video. I also think there’s a lot of value for folk new to the game in these more exploratory vids, as well as experienced folk too. Great stuff, cheers!
Great video, @OmriCohen-Music. Your pacing and explanations as you build patches is always so helpful - tons of tips and ideas for continued exploration. Thanks!

I agree! I loved building along with the live streams! Please bring them back if/when you can.

It's not quite the return without iconic "Hi Guys!" at the start of the video =)
Also reverb is guacamole.
At 29:30 you added a 3rd trigger but never opened the cvmix level for it
