For some background, han wrote and recorded his song in july 2019 (he told us on bubble) in the same period of time he wrote slump. I think 2019 was a hard time for him and all of skz. He went through creative slump and wanted to escape. July 2019 is a month after side effects released which was their most controversial song and they received so much hate. Thank God they are together and survived those dark times. And hyunjin just said in his recent live that he made love untold not long aftee he turned legal so it was 2019 or early 2020. He said he wanted to express pain and sadness idk i kinda forget what he said exactly but i think it can be interpreted as his way of saying good bye to his teenage years.
We hate hearing that they went through so much of a struggle, but thank you for giving us this background information to help us appreciate their music and growth even further. You are absolutely right; we are so thankful and happy that they made it through that darkness.
@@NewChapterReactions yeah 2019 was a rough time for skz and stays. They got so much hate over a song that didn't fit kpop fans taste. Their boss (jyp) on his ig even talked about how these boys went through so much because of this song but when it comes to skz they release music that they want without care of what general public's want and jyp liked and approved of the song so that's all that matters. They lost a member in the end of 2019 in the middle of comeback and concert prep that caused han so much anxiety to face the fans he had to step back some time from their schedules.
12:05 Limbo ends Limbo this suddenly maybe to make us wake up from this dream abruptly and come back immediately to reality, it's just my interpretation, and as you said it makes us feel like we're still into the song's mood even if it's not playing anymore

limbo is so much my style of sad kinda nostalgic song, i love it. it's like the type of song you'd hear in the part of a movie when one of the main characters is leaving somewhere else while leaving something or someone behind or something like that, so good but, again, all the songs are amazing, not surprised coming from skz

Yea, the songs go from oldest to youngest. Here you have some Bday info Chan 97, Minho 98, Changbin 99. Hyunjin is 2000, but in the spring. While he is same year as next 3 members, you will often see fans putting him into hyung (older) line. To keep even numbers and also because he likes taking care of the younger ones. Han and Felix are 14th and 15th September. Just few hours apart so people often call them Sunshine twins. But Felix is considered the baby here, Han likes to act older and reliable. Then Seungmin is 22nd September. While just week after Felix and Han, he is considered on same level by themselves but as 2nd maknae by Stay. I.N is February 2001. So the gap between him and September guys is smaller than between them and Hyunjin actually. But he is still considered much younger just because that is how years are counted in South Korea. I.N actually doesn't like much being the youngest and being the baby to them all. So Seungmin is the one that purposely choose to never treat I.N as younger but same age. It's sweet how close Seungmin tries to be to I.N 😊 it's also another reason why Seungmin + I.N are called maknaes, when Seungmin is actually just 1 week from Han/Felix

Didn't expect you to drop this, but yay! Can I just say that I love the sibling energy you give off? Ain't nothing like your sister forcefully giving you a hug lol. (I know, I have two elder sisters and one older brother haha.) You ask "Why are you still here?" and I just wanna say: I think you're really funny but also very relatable and I love your truly honest reactions! Just like these. Also loved the reaction on Felix's midrange voice. Although I'm a fairly new stay (last August), I've heard this voice quite some times already and it's truly amazing to see newer stays or people who hadn't heard it yet react to that. Especially after his falsetto in taste haha. Deep End surprised me as well though, because he played so amazingly with his range (I read 3 octaves somewhere? I was floored) and harmonies and EVERYTHING. Obviously I love every single one of them, but my other personal favourites are Connected (seriously can all stays just try to make it a summer bob? The fact that while, yes, we see Innie cuddling, hugging and being soft with his hyungs, he is also one of the main ones shying/cringing/literally running away from the boys when shinship is a thing in a lot of their behind the scenes vids. For him to be the one who made Hug Me is just so precious and reminds me of what he said in the Maxident intro vid. One thing in particular is he doesn't like to say I love you a lot so its more precious when he actually does and he expressed that in every personal message he wrote to the boys in the Spring 2022 2 kids room series. This song just kinda reminds me of that. Also, Deep End is already the most streamed song of the new 8 solos with over 1mil views on YT for the official vid not including the unofficial lyric vids or songs on any other platform. Felix was legit asking us on Bubble a few hours after the release if we were okay and reminding us to get some fresh air when we can. He also said not to listen to it too much cuz he didn't want us to get depressed and that he posted a funny TT for us to watch to bring our mood up after each listen and show that he's there for us and has our backs. He said that he'll hold our hands and do his best to guide us from afar. I'm always very partial to han songs because he always hit me so hard lyrically but I was completely blown away by Stars and Raindrops, its the exact kind of song I wanted/needed from seungmin and he sounds AMAZING

Oh My God! I was just finishing the christmas video wondering when you were going to react to the replay songs and THEN you uploaded this video! I'm so happy, because I was so exited to see your reaction! I loved every single one of the songs but I thing my favorite was Hyunjins! It is exactly my style! FAM is one of the best song Stray Kids have made, it's just so sweet! And yeah their going from the youngest to the eldest (starting with Chan singing for Innie). Channies solo song was really sexy mad me blush, Minho's solo was increadable, I'm so proud of him! He has such a beautiful voice ( I cried because he is my bias and I love him so much). Changbin's was insane he really is the best! These new tracks are such a roller coaster of feels. Each has their own color and uniqueness. The ones that stood out for me was Connected, it had such a sexy vibe. Doodle, which was straight fire, and Deep End, which is hauntingly beautiful and sad, and Run, such a catchy hook with deep feelings. I can't wait to watch you react to the other tracks. Organizing my thoughts, hehe: Skz REPLAY is becoming more and moee meaningful while reading the lyrics. Ofc i thought it was just replaying the songs they released on youtube, but now they even have solos that touch on the idea of "replay". Chan with the magnet coz it kinda is like replaying the memory of someone that attracts u. Lee know with the memories of someone and still in a limbo. Changbin with his jutdae, replaying his identity like he shows who he is everytime type of replay. Hyune hurts me because he had recently lost his grandfather so...yeah (another of his song in the album, Miss you is for the dog he lost before his current one). Han is like replaying this desire to run away, the feeling of freedom is a running idea in his mind. Felix is actually surprising, it reminds me of his live when he was still insecure about his voice. But he kept most of his voice raw in this song, like an asmr indeed and evokes the same idea of "cry myself to sleep" coz his lyrics make me cry and asmr kinda make me sleep. The replay is also apparent in the memories he has of the person that changed. Seungmin's has more positive vibe, almost an ost, that even if it is sad the replaying memories make it sparkle. I.N is funny actually. Coz his hyungs never let him go. He is always in their embrace and he rarely returns the hug...so it's like a meta replay for me when he is being embraced without asking lol but a replay too coz he promises to keep hugging that person repeatedly thru the good and bad times.
Yay I didn't expect this so soon! My favorite of the new solos I'd definitely Doodle. I love the instrumental with all the weird noises and it just goes so hard. I also really like Run. It's not really my style musically, but I can relate to the lyrics way too much.
I will say that for the solos on this album my top 3 are stars and raindrops, deep end, I hate to admit (no particular order) but top 6 would include hug me connected and limbo but I love them all. (Also ps bang Chan says connected is about wifi…)

For some background, han wrote and recorded his song in july 2019 (he told us on bubble) in the same period of time he wrote slump. I think 2019 was a hard time for him and all of skz. He went through creative slump and wanted to escape. July 2019 is a month after side effects released which was their most controversial song and they received so much hate. Thank God they are together and survived those dark times.
And hyunjin just said in his recent live that he made love untold not long aftee he turned legal so it was 2019 or early 2020. He said he wanted to express pain and sadness idk i kinda forget what he said exactly but i think it can be interpreted as his way of saying good bye to his teenage years.
We hate hearing that they went through so much of a struggle, but thank you for giving us this background information to help us appreciate their music and growth even further. You are absolutely right; we are so thankful and happy that they made it through that darkness.

Their boss (jyp) on his ig even talked about how these boys went through so much because of this song but when it comes to skz they release music that they want without care of what general public's want and jyp liked and approved of the song so that's all that matters. They lost a member in the end of 2019 in the middle of comeback and concert prep that caused han so much anxiety to face the fans he had to step back some time from their schedules.

limbo is so much my style of sad kinda nostalgic song, i love it. it's like the type of song you'd hear in the part of a movie when one of the main characters is leaving somewhere else while leaving something or someone behind or something like that, so good

Limbo is my favourite song since of how it carries emotion in his voice like he’s heartbroken and it really makes me feel emotional when I listen to it

Hyunjin is 2000, but in the spring. While he is same year as next 3 members, you will often see fans putting him into hyung (older) line. To keep even numbers and also because he likes taking care of the younger ones.
Han and Felix are 14th and 15th September. Just few hours apart so people often call them Sunshine twins. But Felix is considered the baby here, Han likes to act older and reliable.
Then Seungmin is 22nd September. While just week after Felix and Han, he is considered on same level by themselves but as 2nd maknae by Stay.
I.N is February 2001. So the gap between him and September guys is smaller than between them and Hyunjin actually. But he is still considered much younger just because that is how years are counted in South Korea. I.N actually doesn't like much being the youngest and being the baby to them all. So Seungmin is the one that purposely choose to never treat I.N as younger but same age. It's sweet how close Seungmin tries to be to I.N 😊 it's also another reason why Seungmin + I.N are called maknaes, when Seungmin is actually just 1 week from Han/Felix

You ask "Why are you still here?" and I just wanna say: I think you're really funny but also very relatable and I love your truly honest reactions! Just like these. Also loved the reaction on Felix's midrange voice. Although I'm a fairly new stay (last August), I've heard this voice quite some times already and it's truly amazing to see newer stays or people who hadn't heard it yet react to that. Especially after his falsetto in taste haha. Deep End surprised me as well though, because he played so amazingly with his range (I read 3 octaves somewhere? I was floored) and harmonies and EVERYTHING. Obviously I love every single one of them, but my other personal favourites are Connected (seriously can all stays just try to make it a summer bob? I'm getting festival vibes for real) and Limbo, because I was truly surprised by the amount of Lino's belts (that I didn't hear as much yet).

The fact that while, yes, we see Innie cuddling, hugging and being soft with his hyungs, he is also one of the main ones shying/cringing/literally running away from the boys when shinship is a thing in a lot of their behind the scenes vids. For him to be the one who made Hug Me is just so precious and reminds me of what he said in the Maxident intro vid. One thing in particular is he doesn't like to say I love you a lot so its more precious when he actually does and he expressed that in every personal message he wrote to the boys in the Spring 2022 2 kids room series. This song just kinda reminds me of that.
Also, Deep End is already the most streamed song of the new 8 solos with over 1mil views on YT for the official vid not including the unofficial lyric vids or songs on any other platform. Felix was legit asking us on Bubble a few hours after the release if we were okay and reminding us to get some fresh air when we can. He also said not to listen to it too much cuz he didn't want us to get depressed and that he posted a funny TT for us to watch to bring our mood up after each listen and show that he's there for us and has our backs. He said that he'll hold our hands and do his best to guide us from afar. I just- 🥺 baby 💔💘❤

I'm always very partial to han songs because he always hit me so hard lyrically but I was completely blown away by Stars and Raindrops, its the exact kind of song I wanted/needed from seungmin and he sounds AMAZING
Everyone really got to showcase a piece of themselves through their songs, whether it was similar or different to something they've done before, and that is by far our favorite part of these songs so far!

Oh My God! I was just finishing the christmas video wondering when you were going to react to the replay songs and THEN you uploaded this video! I'm so happy, because I was so exited to see your reaction! I loved every single one of the songs but I thing my favorite was Hyunjins! It is exactly my style! FAM is one of the best song Stray Kids have made, it's just so sweet! And yeah their going from the youngest to the eldest (starting with Chan singing for Innie). Channies solo song was really sexy mad me blush, Minho's solo was increadable, I'm so proud of him! He has such a beautiful voice ( I cried because he is my bias and I love him so much). Changbin's was insane he really is the best! Hannie's song made me imagine one of those videos that there's a city moving continiously and the he was running, I really loved the lyrics, Jisung is just so poetic when he writes. These new tracks are such a roller coaster of feels. Each has their own color and uniqueness. The ones that stood out for me was Connected, it had such a sexy vibe. Skz REPLAY is becoming more and moee meaningful while reading the lyrics. Ofc i thought it was just replaying the songs they released on youtube, but now they even have solos that touch on the idea of "replay". Chan with the magnet coz it kinda is like replaying the memory of someone that attracts u. Lee know with the memories of someone and still in a limbo. Changbin with his jutdae, replaying his identity like he shows who he is everytime type of replay. Hyune hurts me because he had recently lost his grandfather so...yeah (another of his song in the album, Miss you is for the dog he lost before his current one). Han is like replaying this desire to run away, the feeling of freedom is a running idea in his mind. Felix is actually surprising, it reminds me of his live when he was still insecure about his voice. But he kept most of his voice raw in this song, like an asmr indeed and evokes the same idea of "cry myself to sleep" coz his lyrics make me cry and asmr kinda make me sleep. The replay is also apparent in the memories he has of the person that changed. Seungmin's has more positive vibe, almost an ost, that even if it is sad the replaying memories make it sparkle. I.N is funny actually. Coz his hyungs never let him go. He is always in their embrace and he rarely returns the hug...so it's like a meta replay for me when he is being embraced without asking lol but a replay too coz he promises to keep hugging that person repeatedly thru the good and bad times.

Don't hold me to this but I think Hyunjin's song Love Untold might have been about his dog Kkami who passed away. His grandfather also passed away recently as well so it could also be about that. But the "pat" part reminded me of Kkami.
