I enjoy restoring old American Flyer trains and accessories. My latest project was three 761 semaphores that I got in various states of disrepair. Before that, it was my yellow base 751 log loader. That one was missing the vertical solenoid rod which is nearly unobtanium. I was able to graft a small hook on a solenoid rod from a later version and it is now one of the nicest accessories I have.
I forgot to show the performance of the engine before the bushings but it was sluggish and binding. The center axle was the culprit. The rear split ones were not very worn so I left them.
Portlines hobbies sells most of the parts necessary. There's also Little Steamers, where I got the rivet kits; I actually hand made these bushings. I think portlines does sell them too.
Nice repairs. I like the switch in the smoke unit wiring.
