I admire anyone who can do bridal work. I did it for a while (cuz you have to do everything in makeup to work) I never enjoyed having to explain to brides who bring me crazy go by's, then having to explain to them that you want to recognize yourself, and you want to look back at these photos and think "fresh and young" I could only do it for a year before I burned out and went straight back to editorial/commercial...where i belong...with models who have no say.

Oh my gosh, ty so much! I went for a trial run of HMU and hated the makeup my hair girl's friend/colleague did. I showed her a pic very similar to this look and what she did looked more like a bruise on my eye! I'm working up to canceling my appointment and instead want to do this on my own. I'm tempted to start doing bridal makeup just to save other bride's from this serious stress. I literally almost had a panic attack that day from all the pressures of planning for this one day! Thankyou so much, you are a lifesaver!!!

I used to do bridal makeup years ago as well. It’s hard work lugging all the stuff especially because I also did the hair so I had an assistant ( sometimes)
Ok maybe this is a stupid question but do you ever put eye cream or something on after going in with the makeup wipe? I always see ppl "cleaning up" with a wipe and then going in with concealer. If I did that I would look super dry under there... Doesn't make sense to me! I always do my eyes first!

Viseart Paris is having their spring sale, at the moment. There are quite a few deals on the site. I love Viseart eyeshadow palettes. They blend so nicely and it holds up particularly well in the heat.
I watch an uploader that is obsessed with the Chanel water fresh tint for a base under her foundation and I used to be OBSESSED with the Stila tint in the bronze bottle that was discontinued, I couldn’t ever do my foundation without it so boy was I bummed when it was GONE FOR GOOD !! So I’m thinking the water tint will replace it however when I went to push buy online at ULTA it was out of stock WHHHAAAT my luck so waiting for that to restock YUP…. I have not tried the Viseart shadow formula but plan to sooner than later
I agree w 99% of what u said, especially about brows. U want to look at your photos in 20 years & not be like What was I thinking. U want a timeless look. But as for applying foundation, NOOO. Applying to the back of your hand 1st is great cause it warms it up, but please don’t apply foundation like that. Start of w a thin layer- use small dots starting on your cheeks & forehead, start blending w a synthetic brush or stippling brush (wet sponge can change the consistency & change the formula slightly). Start in the middle of your face & work out & don’t forget to work down your neck. U can add more if u need more coverage, but thin layers are best, especially for long wear. If u want more coverage use a more coverage foundation, don’t keep adding product. And use the same brush when applying any contour (& go easy on the contour u don’t want Instagram contour for your wedding).
Hi Morgan! could you compare the tarte juicy lip vs. glossier ultra lip vs. make up by Mario juicy glow vs. Em cosmetics cushion lip? They all seem really similar but the price ranges quite a bit, would love your opinion on this!
I got married in the middle of the pandemic and no good makeup artist was available and I had a horrible makeup job done 😭😭😭if I can go back and change anything it would be my hair and makeup for sure, I get depressed whenever I remember my hair and makeup 🥺 but other than that, everything else was amazing, small and intimate ceremony ♥️

I have been wanting to try the Dior Air for like ever now and after I heard you say it’s like your fav foundation ever I finally went and purchased, I landed on two shades so purchased the 1C and if I like the formula I will get the 1N…. I do have the Dior forever concealer and it’s my Holly grail, I use the 2 cool Rosey for my dark circles, and the 1 N to brighten so with me landing on the 1C I hope it’s a good shade ,) I also got my first TF gloss In crystalline… after I got my first TF lip in Nude blush I already want a back up and it sold out on Sephora within mins, so next stock I’m getting a back up and 3 other TF lip shades…. It’s so dang spendy but not being a lipstick gal 3 or 4 is good for me…. I’m more into gloss hehe

Getting married in September. Am definitely going to be practicing these tips. I'm trying to find a good hybrid between Korean and Western style make up that'll suit me so I practice with techniques from both
Love it not getting married but I would absolutely wear this look as a toned down everyday look which I’m trying to get into because I have the habit of going overboard especially with eyeshadow. My question is what color lip and cheek would you recommend for darker complexions I’m thinking peach rather than pink but again I always go overboard so your advice would be appreciated. I usually stay away from brown eyeshadow because I feel they blend in with my skin so I can’t see them but maybe that’s a me thing and they would look great if I went with it I usually start off brown but end up adding colors 🤷♀️ help me please 😂

I tried the estee lauder foundation and it's 100% legit. One of my fave go-to foundations for event makeup!
