    Excellent video!!! Like you stated it seems like the 2 bolts were left out "magically disappeared" to be the root cause. Wonder if the engine had previous cam phaser work done?

      yes, appears that it happened because someone did not tighten the sprocket back down to spec and it was slung around inside the engine.

    Great job on a very complex system. Could you have done that repair on a two track type lift, is it possible to get the engine out with that type of lift?

    I believe later engines have four bolts to secure the water pump sprocket

    I can’t believe this engine is designed like this is garbage. Does not look beefy or strong at all. Way to delicate and major maintenance intensive equipment. No wonder these cars are always broken and not running. Cannot imagine these cars running in 20 years of driving hard without a engine swap.
