*Update:* We have switched from Starlink. With the increase in price, the diminishing speeds, and how much it impacted site availability for us - it wasn't worth it at $150/mo anymore. See our blog post here for more info on our experience and what we switched to: www.lifewithbethandcourt.com/best-internet-for-rv-living/

Not now, unless you're flush with cash! Just this morning.. Starlink announced a $15 per month increase for RV users, that's $150 per month !! They also stated that current customers can return their equipment within 30 days for a full refund.. which is no doubt what I will be doing. It was already pricey!

I have had my Starlink for about 4 months, and just love it! Last time I went out it took about 10min for the dish to find the satellites, and then good to go ! Had over 100+mbps all the time, that's even with 8 other people in my camp wanting to use my wifi, and I was still able to stream Prime. Now I can work remotely as well. Best choice I have made in years !

Love this thank you for sharing! 👏 We really do think this is a game changer for people who need stable internet when working remotely, and we think it will only get better/improve even more as they add more satellites!

Hi just curious, I am a truck driver who goes all across the country. do you still like star link? like do you get decent speeds to stream 4K? great video by the way, it’s refreshing to see a video with real life results instead of all the advertising etc. 😊

Thank you about the video that's really kind :) We have hit our first *snag* with Starlink at a park where there are a lot of trees. We've had to use our hot spots on our phones a couple of times as back up when the speeds drop but other times it's been 155 upload here and 144 upload 😳 So really as long as you're clear of obstructions you should be good, and even with obstructions it depends on the time of the day and you can still have good signal. We've also noticed depending on the area sometimes the speeds drop around 5pm when everyone else is on, but even the dropped speeds have typically been faster than what we had before. I just ran a speed test as we were talking (in the heavy tree location) Upload 120, 23.9 download. Hope this helps!

Hi ladies, I just learned that at lowes they have a Husky brand 12 gallon storage tote that all that packing material fits perfectly and you don’t have to use the box. Of course your Video was very entertaining

Since normally you take down the dish when traveling, so I just put a towel on the bed and set it there when traveling. Safe and secure. No need to dig it out of a compartment.

Would love to see this work in a campground here in B.C., or northwest in general. Very seldom there is much sky when you are surrounded by tall trees. Even on the roof of RV., have you experienced that yet? Or is that an impossible dream to have good internet in a provincial campground?! Lol!

Haha I don't think it's impossible! I'll put feelers out on our Instagram, we have some Canadian RV friends, I'll see if they've used it/what their experience is. We haven't had to move it to the roof yet, but we've seen others do that! We've only had it 2 weeks, we're planning to post another update video once we've experienced wooded areas/have been using it longer.

Do you have Starlink? How has it worked for you? Do you think it’s worth it?

No, just use the hotspot on your phone or get one of the new Xfinity (or the like) boxes.

We've been using our Hot Spot for 2 years, not comparable at all to peak Starlink speeds.
