The beauty, for me, is that slow stitching doesn’t have to be perfect. It’s meditative and relaxing and so much fun. You can be so creative without rules.

Absolutely, and we don’t get enough opportunities to ignore the rules

It's true that slow stitching doesn't require a certain pattern, but eventually it turns into an artistic piece. Thank you.

Loving this new project. Can't wait to start. Running stitch is so simple yet looks do effective and beautiful. I did a scroll in just wavy lines of running stitches, I love it.

@@mistikomakes I learned about the Holbein stitch. I knew about the double running stitch, but I didn't know it was also called Holbein, after the painter, and I didn't realize it could be used in that stairstep or zigzag fashion!

Hi have been enjoying your videos. I’m wondering do you have a video on how to put together and slow stitch and make the pouch you show in this video. Thanks for sharing

I'm glad you enjoy the videos! I haven’t yet made a video on that pouch, but it's a great idea.

I found a place to add that in. Watch out for a video in about two weeks called 6 practical ways to use running stitch (or something like that). It will in the section about seams
