I had this discussion a week or two ago, and that's exactly right. Also, the Passover sacrifice lets death pass over those under the blood, and Jesus/Yeshua's sacrifice lets the second death pass over us

This is what I've been teaching..it wasn't about sin, it was getting back in Covenant with The Father. The way He showed it to me was because Adam broke Covenant, therefore his offspring is born out of Covenant, then I saw a video of Michael Rood on the children of Israel breaking Covenant through the story of the Golden calf, therefore, a sacrifice was to be done every year until Yeshua paid for the broken Covenant, not only for Israel but mankind, Now we can come back into Covenant with The Father in The New Covenant

No one has ever been able to be 100% perfect... Excellent example is getting rid of ALL leaven... surely there will be some crumbs you miss. This doesn't mean you are out of covenant. Prophecy stated there will be many years without king, etc. When sacrifice can't be done, it's with prayers. That being said, Yeshua is high priest in heaven interceding on our behalf.

I'm a Jew who believes in Yeshua yet your question is easy to answer. As you read the following remember there is no temple or sacrifices in exile:
Deut. 30:1 “And when all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you call them to mind among all the nations where the LORD your God has driven you, 2 and return to the LORD your God, you and your children, and obey his voice in all that I command you today, with all your heart and with all your soul, 3 then the LORD your God will restore your fortunes and have mercy on you, and he will gather you again from all the peoples where the LORD your God has scattered you.

Through repentance. But also remember, the Holy One of Yisrael made the Covenant with Abraham while Abraham slept. Meaning that the Holy One walked through the parts alone indicating that whether or not Abraham kept the covenant or not, G-d would be faithful to his promises.
Also remember during the time of the temple you could bring a sacrifice or if you could not afford a sacrifice, you could bring flour as a sin offering. Thus, blood is not required for a sin offering.

I'll answer this as a christian,
rather than as a biblical scholar:
      Repentance,
      Remission,
      and then
      Cleansing:
      baptism by water
      and
      by spiritual fire
      🕊️🔥
God will send the Holy Ghost
as a sign of your forgiveness.

    • @Levi_ben_Yitzhak
      @Levi_ben_Yitzhak 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

And I'll answer this as a Jew who believes in Yeshua but also believes that all of Hashem's words are true not only the so called NT. As you read the following remember that there are no sacrifices in exile:

    Luke 22:14-20 (NLT):
When the time came, Jesus and the apostles sat down together at the table. Jesus said, “I have been very eager to eat this Passover meal with you before my suffering begins. For I tell you now that I won’t eat this meal again until its meaning is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God.” Then he took a cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it. Then he said, “Take this and share it among yourselves. For I will not drink wine again until the Kingdom of God has come.” He took some bread and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” After supper he took another cup of wine and said, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people-an agreement confirmed with my blood, which is poured out as a sacrifice for you."

I would have to agree that assuming this is equivalent to the sin offering is a sketchy assumption, but I don’t see the Pasach sacrifice as a renewal of Covenant gateway either as it specifically applies to firstborn within each family, it is this thought that the Pasach brings to me as Shaul speaks of our adoption as firstborn sons, thus a restorative act that looks back upon the fall of Adam.

Jesus is the way back to the Father through the Justice of the cross. The Son of God took His righteous judgement against rebellion and sin, he drank the cup of his righteous wrath against all that is not life, so that we can drink the cup of His Blessing. Judgment has passed over us and on to the Son of God, and our faith is an active walk this day as we seek to cleanse the temple of the rubbish of this world, that we would know Him with a pure heart. In the covenant, all that is needed for life and godliness has been given to us thru Grace God's riches at Christ expense.

I see they associate Jesus blood as a sin offering, which clearly determines only one requirement, and that is Jesus blood must anoint the mercy seat of the arch of the covenant! Which is in accordance with the first covenant between God and the mixed multitude children of Israel. So as the ticketed way into the covenant clearly represents a covering, and in the Christian teachings I have received thoughout my lifetime a covering is shelter from the wrath which all deserve.

    John 1:29
The next day he saw Yeshua coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
    Matt 26:28 (spoken by Yeshua)
"for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins."
Are not both points of view true? Nehemiah points out traditional Hebrew understanding of the Passover lamb and followers of Yeshua have the writings of the New Testament. Both Hebrew scriptures and New Testament scriptures are needed to understand the progressive revelation of redemption.

Please read “Rethinking the atonement” by David Moffatt. I think you will be shocked to hear a different perspective from a Christian . Jesus willing sacrificed His life, but He was not a sin sacrifice. God never asks for human sacrifice to be made as an offering on an alter to himself. Jesus needed to die once ( like all other men, due to sin on earth, not his own sin, but ours ) so that he could be resurrected by His father to now enter into his position as High priest in the heavenly tabernacle. Actively Interceding on our behalf like stated in Hebrews offering better sacrifices today!!! He is currently in heaven performing the duties of a High priest in the Order of Melchizdeck because of the transfer of the law now no longer in the order of Levi. He never came to abolish the law or prophets he came to teach and preach the fullness of them! Making him the perfect righteous High Priest for all eternity.

Do you want to talk because Pentecostal Christians believe that the Passover lamb is Yeshua because no one is sinless and belief in him causes the death angel to Passover a believer. Yeshuas is the high priest offering His own blood for our sin on the mercy seat. Remember Abraham said to Issac God will provide Himself a sacrifice . Have you ever read John’s gospel and what Yeshua said to Nicodemus about salvation it is belief and those Baptist pastors you listen to do not understand grace through faith. We are saved by faith not by dead works of the law. Moses did not go into the promised land because he represented the law. Don’t you know what king David said?

The lamb was used as passover sacrafice because the lamb was worshipped like the cow in India. They?
Had to bring it into their house so that the Egyptians would see.
The lamb brought into their home all week. Then they had to roast it whole. So to be sure that the egyptians saw what they were doing. It was a lamb. If israel Had not left Egypt. They would have been killed for killing a lamb, An egyptian god. It was the first step to rid idolatry from the hebrew people.

Passover was a sin offering as per the Torah. ‭
    Numbers 9:13 NKJV‬
[13] But the man who is clean and is not on a journey, and ceases to keep the Passover, that same person shall be cut off from among his people, because he did not bring the offering of the Lord at its appointed time; that man shall bear his sin.
If a person is unable to keep the Passover on 14th Nissan, He must keep it a month later. Otherwise that man shall bear his sins - or - his sins wouldn't be removed. So passover was a sin offering

A sin offering or an entrance to God's covenant with his Son?
Is it important to us or more important to our God?
Not a slip of the spirit's tongue, it's prophetic.
    Proverbs 30:4
    - "Who has ascended to heaven and then descended? Who has gathered the wind in the palms of both hands? Who has wrapped up the waters in his garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth?
What is his name and the name of his son-if you know?"
    Proverbs 8:30
    - "Then I was beside him as a master worker. I was the one he was especially fond of day by day; I rejoiced before him all the time;"
    Isaiah 42:1
    - "Look! My servant, whom I support! My chosen one, whom I have approved! I have put my spirit in him; He will bring justice to the nations."
    Genesis 49:10
    - "The scepter will not depart from Judah, neither the commander’s staff from between his feet, until Shiʹloh comes, and to him the obedience of the peoples will belong."
    Psalm 2:6
    - Saying: “I myself have installed my king On Zion, my holy mountain.”
    Isaiah 9:6
    - "For a child has been born to us, A son has been given to us; And the rulership will rest on his shoulder. His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace."
    Zechariah 6:13
    - "He is the one who will build the temple of Jehovah, and he is the one who will assume the majesty. He will sit down on his throne and rule, and he will also be a priest on his throne, and there will be a peaceable agreement between the two."
    Luke 22:29
    - "and I make a covenant with you, just as my Father has made a covenant with me, for a kingdom,"
    Revelation 19:16
    - "On his outer garment, yes, on his thigh, he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords."
