@@pritapp788 Bayern had complete passes 93%, Real 90%. They dont play too much passes, it was just about 500. Often Bayern plays over 600 or sometimes 700 passes in a match with a 90% accuracy.
That's too much of a simplification, Madrid uses different tactics to most top club.
Exactly that’s the difference between Madrid and the rest of the top teams. A lot of teams would break when you concede two goals that quick just like a lot of teams would’ve have been ran over when city equalized. We saw it in the 21/22 season too. There’s a certain mindset in that squad. You have to destroy them like city did listen season or else there’s always a chance they’ll come back.

The draw is a loss for RM. Should have been a walk in the park against this weak Bayern squad, too bad Real suffers from injuries, i said it against the City first leg, Lunin has tried his best, did lots of saves but he’s nowhere near Courtois. Sane’s goal would have never been if it was Courtois, neither 2 of City’s goals

Real Madrid are more like an Italian team under Ancelotti; they soak pressure and defend for lengthy periods, then hit you on counter attack. They are the antithesis of a traditional Spanish team.
But that's only when they need to. When playing against teams who they know by default will try to dominate possession, and play with a really high defensive line, Madrid are happy to sit back, give up the ball and absorb the pressure, because they know they have the concentration, cohesion and discipline to defend and, most of all, they have the quality to capitalize on the space those teams leave at the back and punish them with the chances they get. Against teams like City or Bayern, specially playing away, they know that this is the approach that will give them the better chance to win. They absolutely have the quality to dominate games with the ball and take the initiative (I mean, look at that lineup...), and against most teams, they do exactly that. But that's what makes them great, they aren't married to a system, or a gameplan, or an idea of how the game should be played. City and Barcelona are willing to stick to their principles until the end, while Madrid will do whatever is necessary to win. Their only philosophy is winning, and that's why they always do it.

That is little harsh on Kim. Sure, he made two terrible mistakes, but he had to play out of his normal position since Dier had to play LCB. Kim was man marking Vini by himself, as well as he had to cover both left and right since Dier is slow and always supporting the attack. Don't forget that Kim made a lot of good defensive stops against Vini, such as where he outran Vini from half line. In my opinion, Minjae should be given another chance but this time with De ligt instead of Dier. Minjae looked exhausted after 70min of covering Dier

I still don't get jamie saying he doesn't know How madrid manage to get the results which tells a lot about his overall understanding of the game. Madrid is very organized defensively with and without the ball. They may not be devastating at attacking but when they get the ball and give it to Kroos they are able to manage the ball very well and control the tempo and sometimes make very dangerous counterattack.
