tbh i much rather have a dev hunt than a fashion contest i am praying this event is so bad because all of their effort went to a much better christmas event
i saw so many 12-year-olds going 'i like the haunt because i dont have to play 100 games'.... you *like* the haunt because you DONT have to play games? tells you all you need to know.
Whole reason they did a “costume contest” was to get money - if you didn’t notice, buying robux this month they heavily advertised their limiteds on the premium part and if a kid goes to their parent saying it’s for a competition half the time parents nowadays dont even care or second guess They now rely on creators for these events because of laziness and take more profits from the creators especially during these events. Pressure wasn’t even told it was a costume contest until last minute (2 days before release) The Roblox charm is gone, it’s all about money and making sure the consumers are more drained than the day before
The one Roblox event I partake in ends up being the worst one lol. At least I got voted high enough to get the Zombie Teddy hat, top 10%! Happy Halloween, people. [Edit: Before you ask, the one screenshot I uploaded was in the Villains category and even though it was kind of on a whim, it was at the very least my original avatar. If you see it, its a smiling green guy with a ghost tail and green skin. Thats-a-me!]
How do you feel about the boss? It’s honestly so boring and there was no build up or whatever. I was also too lazy to get the in-hub items cause it was gonna go anyway. I also somehow won 50% but the prize was very boring lol
i somehow got top 50% in villians. i think it all depended on if you submitted yours early enough, aka had time to waste to join. i was busy for most of the days

This "The Haunt" is by far the worst one this year, I mean, i like the rewards, mainly the hat, but like, we only have to take snapshots, submit them and vote other's to get the rewards? It's just boring, its more entertaining if its like the other events, we have to ACTUALLY play the games to get the rewards, I think everyone agrees with this comment...

I have yet to encounter one soul who praises this event more than anything else, but the fact that those types of people exist is beyond me.

They actually had a good game selection, but man it's sad to see no related quests you could do for prizes 😔

Peak roblox event was The Great Yolktales 2018. It all went downhill from there.
