Me the same......I was at the famous concert at Paradiso, Amsterdam, Holland. Nightwish with ofcourse TARJA, played the whole dvd from wishes to eternity......one of the most important nights of my life......thank you TARJA and Nightwish and Buma Stemra for that evening. I was lucky to met very important people of label company there. They came looking to Nightwish to contract them. They did not know them yet and stood next to me. The nice LADIE asked me several things of the band... And before the concert ended I got a kiss and her backstage pass......and see now what became AFTER that concert of Nightwish. I feel proud. And Floor Jansen singing in Nightwish is a shame. Not her as person. She is a very nice LADIE. But she should have never left after Forever......what a very very famous and big band would that have been. Aan big as Metallica. FOR SURE.....AND IT IS A BIGGER SHAME RHAT THE LABEL COMPANY KEEPS ALL THE VIDEO S FROM PINKPOP AND LOWLANDS......THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN YEARS LONG , A BEAUTIFUL DVD FROM THAT MAGNIFICENT CONCERT, WITH A BONUS SONG: THEIR FIRST TV PERFORMANCE ON DUTCH TELEVISION IN KOPSPIJKERS, JACK SPIJKERMAN. For all my regret when Tarja left I find Floor more falling in with the band now - I'm not sure I know how to express it, but she's in stride with the rest of them, making the outcome whole I find I very rarely revert to "old" Nightwish these days This song ... The fact she still performs it tells me she came to regret her leaving But there is no going back now
Too bad for Tarja that after 18 years she still has to do Nightwish covers to keep on going with her career.Tarjas 2005 version was decent that she tamed a bit her annoying vibrato ,Floor does much more justice to the song

As for Tarja singing songs from her time in Nightwish, she sings two or three per show, whereas Nightwish plays songs from the past during for most of the time at the shows, because the songs Nightwish released in the last 10 years only had any success specifically during that album's tour. The last albums will never go down in history like did until the Dark Passion Play.

She made it feel more powerful here. Less sorrowfull, yes, but more emotional, to me.

I almost didn't give Anette a chance, because I didn't realize originally that Dark Passion Play wasn't written for her voice. So of course it wasn't going to be her best. Took me awhile to even bother looking at the new stuff when Floor came out, because my first impressions of her were of her singing old material, and I just really didn't like some of it. But, came back around again. Good thing too because I really like Elan.
