Always a pleasure listening to any of the Podcasts involving The Korda Boyos 👍🏾 Topics... Everyones Individual Winter Essentials Or Boilies Vs Particles Ready For The Spring
Love these podcasts , I've been fishing for 50 years and when I was younger I was told it was always best to go fishing on a new moon . Also the term Lunatic has something to do with abnormal human behaviour, with links to the moon .
Question, I fish an old silty mere and was glad to here dovey speak about using backleads when fishing a shallow silty lake. I was wondering if you could give your top tips for fishing in & around silt ?
Fastest 50min podcast I’ve ever watched… bloody brilliant. Without giving too much away obviously, what edges do you think you’re going to employ over the next 12 months to differentiate yourself from other anglers?
Love it again. I’d love for you guys to talk about how you cut your gear down actually. Or maybe a ‘day only’ masterclass from someone like dovey where they go over the luggage and what they are bringing etc. For the pod, I’d love to hear about throwing sticks/catapults vs spodding a bit. If they think a typical ‘big fish’ baiting approach does lead to bigger carp. Or if spodding creates the feeding frenzy more etc. could be a great listen.
Love the new format, flowing conversations are much better than interview style! Always thought personally big moon captures are just publicised more which feeds the moon phase snowball effect! If you were an angler on limited fishing time of 1 or 2 weekends a month, would you guys say pre-baiting an area to create a spot outweigh finding the fish on the day of arrival? Cheers.
Loving this new format. I hear anglers constantly talking about wind, new wind, on back of wind could you please explain what they are, and how to use them in my fishing Thank you
Question: this episode you discussed gleening information beforehand on a new water, How much would you follow ie, bait and tactics or so you think going complety against the grain to be different would be an advantage or disadvantage, thanks
Question for the boys to discuss especially with Dovey & Maker having done a lot of time on Walthamstow. Any tips on getting the most out of a days only day ticket water ? Cheers !
One thing for me with back leads that you did not mention is keeping your other rods safer playing another fish, i do not like it if the fish clashes with another line and potentially have to recast the rod that you have not had a take on. How Tom maker does this with tight lines 3 on a spot I don't know! Great listen guys😊
Awesome watch guys my question is what one thing would take out of your fishing would you have changed your fishing for the better if you could go back to the start of your fishing career onto the next discussion guys 👊👊
I fish a weedy sand pit with alot of varying depths and struggle feeling the lead down/feature finding any advice to help me feel more confident in my approach
Brilliant podcast gents! Keeps me going on a night shift! Question- ive been getting into the solid bags as of late and was toying with the idea of a straight bottom bait insted of a wafter. Was wondering if anyone has given it a go and if so what are the results like? Cheers!
Great format all. What’s the best year round beginner’s rig and what makes it different from the other ones? I’m wanting to focus on fish movement and bait as my decision makers.
What's your thoughts on which bait to use over the winter fishing season. I under stand about oils .but do I have to change my bait . Or can I do with just not as much. I am using cc moors live system. In the warmer month's I plug but stop when temps drop off. Thanks
Always great ... these podcasts, I have a question regarding water temps on big deep lakes, any thoughts? and deep I mean waters that are 30ft+ deep ...
Love these podcasts 👌. I have a question though to hopefully help out new anglers and those struggling. I've seen a lot of posts of post on various social media sites new anglers becoming a bit confused with all the different rigs, setups and generally the head f**k of the plethora of kit available. The generic answer is usually "go back to basics" , but alot of newbies and younger anglers don't know what the basics are. I feel a quick highlight of this may help as we all want to keep people on the bank fishing and when people aren't catching thats when they leave but if they are catching and telling their mates that will then hopefully bring more people to the sport. Thanks again ✌️
I've never fished a proper big fish water. I used to fish a local syndicate that was a very shallow gravel pit. On a full moon or very light nights the fish shut up shop.
Really interesting watch this was! Do you think the size of the lake has any effect on the catch rate on the different phases of the moon as well? For example would a small lake react less to a bigger lake on a full moon. Cheers.
Probably a silly question, but how can i improve my catch rate with barbless hooks. I seem to loose more with barbless then I do barbed. Is there anything you would suggest that could help me land more with barbless hooks, 🤙🏼
** Statement & a Question ** After watching the underwater videos, you often see rigs being picked up and dropped with zero indication on the alarms. This made me think, Do you see fizzing on top when you can see the carp feeding on camera? Side note, I love both the podcast formats, really enjoyable to watch. 'imagine not believing in the moon 🙄. Cheers, Colin
Brilliant podcast yet again l. How would you fish and small shallow lake where the fish very rarely show. I've asked the regular anglers it's mixed answers
Hi guys many thanks for a fantastic podcast really enjoy it as always I would like to ask there's a lot of talk about the new director reels which are 45 do you think that the rumours are true that these actually do produce more distance on your cost rather than a smaller spool many thanks John
Question the lakes i fish are course lakes and have many bream roach and tench in as well as some good carp. would you still consider naturals in these types of lakes as i normally fish boilie with hemp and maze and still pick up bream ?
Don’t worry spooner you may not have has a 50 carp but I bet you’ve had plenty of 50’s go through those hands for all those Korda videos 😏😉😉 lol but great content once again and litterally a room full of my favourite anglers of today. As sadly no one’s got a touch on Terry h. As he’s the old skool master of my childhood 😂😂 but a lot of talent and some really down to earth guys. Keep up the content can’t wait for the next one. ❤
Great podcast yet again guys. My question is what lake or venue have you not fished that you dream of being able to visit in the future. Whether it be UK or elsewhere. Keep up the great work and thanks for great content as always
Great stuff on the podcasts ! What are your toughts on spombing on shallow water up till like 1.5meters. I would like to test and know if it scares of fish on this depth or does it attract fish. What are you opinions on this?
With lakes such as gigantica where you have to record all catches. Do people have to note down the moon phase also. At least over a period of time we may be able to see a pattern
Hi massive fan I’ve just joined my local winter syndicate 32 acres shallow lake it’s very silty lake I’d love some advice on it please Ive been fishing for the last 3 weekends on hel rigs but loads of line bits but no bits and there’s loads of big carp in the lake any help would be appreciated many thanks Chris Plows
My question is around the moon on the latest episode. So maker made out like his point is ‘more anglers fish on the moon phase therefore more and bigger fish will be caught’ but then he goes on to say about good winter waters, like Billy’s etc so then where is the proof in that, because is it a good winter water because of the water itself or because people have made a lot of noise over a few captures in the winter there for more people fish it, and more fish get caught in the winter? Hope that makes sense👍 Brilliant podcast once again by the way🙌
Question for the next podcast, i fish a lake that has more catfish than carp,it is very silty and very weedy during the warmer months, so how would you guys approach this lake bait and tactics wise please? You guys would probably say fish during the colder months to avoid the catfish which i have done, and yet still caught the catfish in temperatures around 4/5 degrees. Any ideas please. Thanks Raj.
Love the podcast lads. The sound is a bit off still. My question is about your set ups, what's your essentials? You said you scale down for winter so it's easy and I'm all about that. Id like to know what you take and what you choose to leave

The amount of experience and skill in that room is unbelievable. Korda has hit the nail on the head with Tom M and Tom S. incredible anglers 💥

I have a QUESTION. Bobbins… low or high? Heavy or light? What bobbins are best for what situation?

Worth looking into magneto-reception with regards to moon phases affecting carp, and a chemical called chromium

tested years ago in total carp magazine, you can't put more than 2lbs of pressure with your rod and line

My wife works in care and some of the patients would play up a lot more on a full moon. We do deffo act different too 🌚🤣
You cant beat a bright, crisp winters day on the bank
How about, Maker and Bennett versus Stokes and Ringer. That's worth a watch.
