i've been avoiding madoka magica because a friend told it was essentially "watch your cute favorite girl get killed" the show. but jobby's love for this show is about to make me watch it.
Yes.... finally.... i get to make the best jobby Christmas picture ever.... finally my skillz can come into use.... MADOKA YOU ARE MINEEEEE (she's so cuteee)
It could just be that I'm late to the fandom, and was spoiled about everything in the show and movie, but I really don't mind the Devil Homura stuff. Some people say it's against her character to betray Madoka, but considering in the show she was willing to flat out murder Madoka's best friend if it meant saving Madoka, I'd say that Devil Homura is more in character than episode 12 Homura. As for Nagisa, again, I was kinda spoiled about everything before I even watched the first episode, so I was already in the mindset of Nagisa being one of the magical girls and thus was really excited to finally see her in action in Rebellion.

The series takes place over a little over a month, and the creator said that Homura experienced it all nearly 100 times, so from her perspective she spent around 8 years, give or take, trying to save Madoka. One does not spend 8 years of their life working towards a goal and simply "oh well" when someone makes that goal totally unachievable.
GurrenPrime My only problems were at first the heel-turn coming out of nowhere, and the fact that she doesn't even TRY to hide the fact that she's evil now. The stoic badass I was rooting for is dead and gone, replaced by this baked-out-of-her-mind-sounding, evil-mastermind-acting, slightly annoying fuckwit. The camera almost always focused on her mouth when she spoke, and always wearing an expression like she's constantly daydreaming of going out and hacking apart some random drifter later...

Devil Homura just...came out of NOWHERE! AND IT JUST DIDN'T MAKE ANY SENSE WHY SHE'D TAKE HOMURA ALL FOR HERSELF ANDJADGFJOGJPOAEGHIPAEGHI UGH IPJH ...That is all.
All the signs were there and there was much of foredhadowing. One of the most crucial moments in the movie is Madoka and Homura's heartwarming conversation in the flowerfields. Madoka says that she would go away to a place where she couldn't be with her friends anymore and would like to be Homura forever. For this Homura thinks that Madoka isn't truly happy/ unconsciously doesn't want to be a God anymore, so she takes part of Madoka's powers (part of infinity is still infinity) and seals her to Homura's newly made universe. In my opinion #HomuraDidNothingWrong . She did it all for love... even if it was some disturbingly obsessive love...
I think why they made the rest of Nagisa's hair not attached to her head was so that the stand could be plugged into the back of the figure, and so head poseability wasn't hindered too much.

I have never thought to question about how her outfit works. I am now questioning about how her outfit works. Also, don't torture her with the swivels.
I will recommend to go for the nenderoid version of this character. About as much swivels as a basic nenderiod, same big-ass head, but has a little more variety with accessories, solid connections, and weird poncho(?) Has been fixed. But I know you aren't much of a fan of nendroids. Just once.figure collector to another.
To trap whatever this kid actually is, I'd put a bunch of cheese in a pile with a box on a stick over it, when she came to eat the cheese I'd spring the trap, then stack books on it so she couldn't get out then I'd leave.
I've seen some cool Gunpla X Figma combo out in the net and I'd like to see you try and make one original combination or maybe replicate some of the ones online and do a guide for that in the future!

Bruh. I just finished Madoka Magica Rebellion, and for the most part, I liked it. However, the last 20 minutes made less and less sense the more I watched it. I would honestly say I liked the anime show a little better. The last 5 minutes made no sense to me, whatsoever. Still has gotta be my favorite anime (the show mainly) so far! Edit: the last 5 minutes of the movie before the credits.
