If you’re going to be doing master league, make sure you have at least one of the Pokémon in your party as best buddy for the CP boost. Also a good idea for other leagues if you have mon with pretty good IVs, but can’t get it close to either 1500 or 2500 without going over.

Hey Daxi, quick heads-up, according to a dev I spoke to at the Starly Community Day Meetup event in Dallas, they're looking at either nerfing Shadow Pokemon or buffing Purified ones in order to encourage Purification, so expect Shadows to be weaker in the coming future. Other things she mentioned potentially happening are a rewards list in the Battle section so you can see all the potential rewards for moving up a tier and a cosmetic reward for any hundo/shundos found AFTER they add it.
Of course they would want to nerf shadow. First, it makes us as bad as Team Rocket for using them, and second, it costs us candies and stardust to purify.
Hope this is true. As it stands, the fact that team Rocket is presented as evil for turning Pokemon shadow, but players are encouraged to use them, makes no sense. Should have been a purified buff instead of a shadow buff from the start
@@TheRealMrAndrew if anything it cost waaay more stardust/XL(candy) to build shadow pokemon. Purifying shadows will save tons of resources as they are 20% cheaper than non purified mons and comparing that to shadows it's insanely more efficient.
You should do an update on this list after all the move changes that happened recently. Like terrakion w/ double kick and sacred sword is up there with shadow machamp I think.
Shadow Machamp is my most used pokemon in the game, I've been using it for raids and gym battles. It's so strong, easy to find XL candies and versatile

#1 shadow mewtwo. I just finished maxing one its easily my favorite mon i have. 2. Melmetal is so good for everything. Definitely recommend powering one up since they are so easy to come by. 3. Dialga is in raids right now i Definitely would power one up. (I have a best buddy level 50 hundo) 4. Mega Gary is my favorite mega its a 1km buddy and is pretty strong (level 50 hundo as well) its moveset has so much coverage. 5. Garchomp is fantastic for alot too.
@@sebastianvaldivieso9654 well you're wrong. For a new account you can easily get a decently strong melmetal pretty fast and it would be a decent option for raiding. My account is pretty varied so I would likely have better counters, but I have a level 50 i wouldnt hesitate to use. Also it has a deep move set so it could be useful in different raids. It can hit alot for super effective. So if you have perfect counters its maybe not the best in raids but not everyone does. So because of coverage, how easy it is to get, and how easy it is to max it is good in raids, pvp, rocketbattles and gym defense.
My man. Love it when you update us on what to look out for, but if there's a way to give out the strong ones to have that aren't shadow would be great. It's rare to get shadows that are strong enough. Most of the ones I come across aren't even 3 stars, but I do have a bunch of normal ones so it'd be nice to know if they hold up even if they're not shadow. Appreciate it.
The short answer is that when it comes to attacking, a 0% IV shadow is still better than a 100% IV of the same regular/normal Pokemon. The math works like this: Shadows get a 20% bonus to their attack stat. IV adds up to 15 extra points to the base stat. So using Mewtwo as an example, the base attack stat is 300. If you have a 100% IV regular Mewtwo, it’s attack stat will be 315. But if you have a 0% IV shadow Mewtwo, it will have an attack stat of 360 (300 plus 20% of 300, or 60).
I'm interested to see what megas we will see in the game next. I personally want to see the hoenn starter's megas because I feel like mega Blaziken could be pretty good (also sceptile is my favorite pokemon and want to use it's mega).

regieleki there are a lot of regi's, this is by far the one with the funniest name xD and you can pretty much use any team you like in the leagues. if you can deal at least to every type neutral damage and on most of the types super effective effective, your team is fine my team where im working on: gardevoir: charm, synchronoise, shadow ball melmetal: thunder shock, rock slide, superpower shadow swampert: mud shot, hydro cannon, earthquake
Instead of skipping normal type you should comment on how they are typically the best picks for gym defense. Chansey, Blissey, Snorlax top tier gym defenders
I would say that Calcy IV is insane for simulating raid attackers, and it works right on top of the game. It does everything for you, and you can even see the optimal moveset + much more. So much time saved because you can make groups for every boss with all the extra options. Btw... Great video!
Suggestion: Assuming you're judging based on DPS and DPS^3*TDO, it'd be really helpful if you highlighted the best in each category in the graphics like you sometimes do in other videos for best DPS (e.g., Mega Charizard for DPS^3*TDO and Mega Blaziken for DPS).

It would be nice to get a similar list with the restriction that the mons need to be at least somewhat obtainable. You can only use one mega at a time, so it doesn't really make sense for those to be included in the same list as the rest either. If you need a raid team you'll use one mega and 5 others. Telling us that there are 2-3 megas in the A-tier isn't really helpful. The fire list in this video is the best example of why. I git 2 decent xerkitrees, both 15 15 14 ivs, one from trade and one from raid no lucky involved I already put all my rare candies in them right now 428 something I hope I had enough to power two to lv 40 and double move them.
Pvp lists don't work IMO the Meta on paper works but whenever I've stuck to it I fail. Yet using pokemon outside the Meta gives me for better results. Everyone forgets Excadrill. He's one of the best PVP to invest in
The recent comday for roggenrola really helped me out. I had two high lvl lucky ryperions, and I was able to fill out the rest of the team with 4 lucky roggenrola I evolved. Not alot of stardust was needed thanks to them all being lucky. Might not be the best but they Definitely put in work in raid especially for a new team on a newer account. Only level 35. So if you need a rock type and have roggenrola sitting around you can mirror trade with someone it better than random rock typs being added to your raid.

I use meta breakers in pvp sometimes like I use galade as there r sometimes swampert and kill them using leaf blade even use hitmonchan its epic one alolan raichu is also epic I use scizor as fairy psychic counter

How do people end up with shadows that aren’t absolute crap IV-wise? Just incessant battling team rocket, I guess? I battle them pretty often, (though it’s def not my favorite thing), and I have maybe two or three shadows that aren’t garbage.
Trying to take notes by screenshotting. Everything was great when you had 1 or 2 graphics showing the mons. Kinda wish you would've kept that going. Each mon separately is a bit much. Still, good list so far, gonna watch till the end. Probably going to have to use my lunch break to compile all this into a list I can actually use.
Problem is i have a serious stardust addiction, i can't stop hoarding it and i hate spending because it takes far longer to earn it than spend it Also both XL and normal candy are hard to get for rare mons
kinda wish you went more into non shadow pokemon. I get they are better but not everyone has them and they are harder to get. would have liked more options than them and legendary. still good video other than that.
I'm not care too much about powering pokemons for raids. Thanks to the raid finding apps, I'm always able to find enough traniers to battle with. Usually 6 tranier 35+ level is enough for 5* raids.
You forget to mention eternatus in dragon type tier with move dynamax canon and eternabeem Also light form necrosoma with signature move can be number 1 psychic type raid attacker
Ice types are just as useful as fighting and rock types and therefore I'd give them a 5 out of 5. Also, shadow roserade will be a force as both a poison and grass type raid attacker.
Why dragon pult isn't for duture in dragon type. He is dragon ghoust. He is fosil pokemon tehnicularly(He is ghoust of the fosil pokemon that lived 1000 and more years ago in pokemon go.
I honestly don't know what they'll do to save xerneas unless they make it a new fast move or make geomancy as broken as in the main series. The only use for it I've found so far was against mega kangaskhan with outrage 😂

For dragon type, I think rayquaza should be A tier… especially when it gets its mega form, it’s going to be a beast
but it does not have its mega form yet so yeah rank it as if it had the mega already.

It's not that good bcz it doesn't show what ranking is the pokemon IV according to the league, but only the % and that can make you do bad decisions

How do people end up with shadows that aren’t absolute crap IV-wise? Just incessant battling team rocket, I guess? I battle them pretty often, (though it’s def not my favorite thing), and I have maybe two or three shadows that aren’t garbage.
I will upgrade dialga for raids and master league
Trying to take notes by screenshotting. Everything was great when you had 1 or 2 graphics showing the mons. Kinda wish you would've kept that going. Each mon separately is a bit much. Still, good list so far, gonna watch till the end. Probably going to have to use my lunch break to compile all this into a list I can actually use.

I'm not care too much about powering pokemons for raids. Thanks to the raid finding apps, I'm always able to find enough traniers to battle with. Usually 6 tranier 35+ level is enough for 5* raids.
Even less sometimes too. PVE is just trash unless doing challenge raids and there’s zero point as you get the same rewards

You forget to mention eternatus in dragon type tier with move dynamax canon and eternabeem
Also light form necrosoma with signature move can be number 1 psychic type raid attacker

Ice types are just as useful as fighting and rock types and therefore I'd give them a 5 out of 5. Also, shadow roserade will be a force as both a poison and grass type raid attacker.
Why dragon pult isn't for duture in dragon type. He is dragon ghoust. He is fosil pokemon tehnicularly(He is ghoust of the fosil pokemon that lived 1000 and more years ago in pokemon go.

For great ultra and master league save a spot for swampert it does good in all three
I honestly don't know what they'll do to save xerneas unless they make it a new fast move or make geomancy as broken as in the main series. The only use for it I've found so far was against mega kangaskhan with outrage 😂
