I have attempted with the full amount and none in my family touched it. When I tasted, it was horrible then I reduced the amount of baking powder and the cake was enjoyable!

I just increase sugar quantity
1 sweet orange, seeded and chopped
1/2 cup oil
3/4 cup sugar
3 eggs
Blender, 2 minutes
Pour into bowl, and add
1 3/4 cup flour, sifted
2 tsp baking powder
Stir together, but do not overmix
4" x 7" baking mould
6" round baking mould
Pour batter into 2 prepared baking tins
Preheat oven at 180*C for five minutes
Then bake at 170*C for 35-40 minutes
