i agree, he shouldn't be in f1 with so many talented young drivers around.
By no means am I a Palmer fan but to be fair to him he got caught out in the Giovinazzi crash - would have made it into Q2 rather than right at the back. Still though, that was one hell of a quali session for Hulkenberg.

Hulkenberg is better than people think and Palmer couldn't do a second lap due to Giovinazzi's crash. Palmer isn't as bad as he looks here.

For anyone experiencing bad frame rate, it's because your watching it on 360p, change the quality to 720p and it is fine.

I'm sure the general order would have changed, but Giovinazzi was on a faster lap than his previous best, so had he not crashed at all he may have still progressed. Of course, had he just spun and not hit the wall he almost definitely would've been eliminated in Q3.
Jared Bowhay-Pringle Yeah but the guys behind him on the track (ocon, verstapen, grosjean) were improving their lap time as well, so i think that if he didn't crash he would have been further on the grid. Anyway my 1st comment was a joke and of course he didn't crash on purpose, but it has a bright side at the end of the day

Ojogbane Amedu this was one hell of a show! from p17 to p2 with insane overtakss and an epic start. i would sign for it before the race! the kid is the real deal.
Jack Links I don't really like Verstappen, but it's clear most of it wasn't insane overtakes just convenient pit stopping and safety cars. He only did one overtake on a struggling Raikkonen unless I missed another. His one on Ricardo was good tho.

This quali clearly showed that Ferrari and merc are almost on par and the differences are being made by the drivers. Maybe in quali setup merc is still slightly ahead but overall it is very, very close. So happy to see Ferrari right up there again and really fighting for poles and wins. Absolutely fantastic. Forza Ferrari!
Not really, Mercedes were quite superior, and it was the drivers who could push that to wins

Watched it live and I swear Hamiltons pole lap might just be one of the best laps I've ever seen.
When Vettel was in the RB way ahead of the field, his pole laps were always scruffy, missing apexs... Hamilton hits everything spot on.
They missed the best part outof these highlights... turn 7 of the pole lap..
