In all my years of playing red dead 2 I have never known that their was a gold shield on the Braithwaite fire place

@@aamry pretty sure you can redo the mission and still save the shield?
In the game files you can find more trinkets and talisman. I imagine the ammonite and fluorite were part of a crafting recipe for one or 2 and when they were removed Rockstar forgot about the items because they were so hidden.
They're such weird and obscure items, i've always wondered if they were part of cut content or if they were always just a couple of strange collectables

I would LOVE for you to work on a video or a series of vids where you list all collectibles (letters, newspaper scraps, sellable items, BASICALLY EVERYTHING!) per chapter in the detailed order in which they become available. I know this would take FOREVER but no else has done something like this for RDR2.

Talking about the Braithwaites; if you come back to the Manor after the fire, you can find the charred corpse of the old lady (I don't remember her name😅). If you loot her, you'll find the family pendant that she wore when she was alive.

If you shoot the derby hat off of the scarecrow during the "rescue Trelawny" mission, Charles has a unique line of dialogue where he says: "Huh, well that's one way to get a new hat!" lol
There's a bounty mission John does with Sadie and if you steal the guys hat she says something like, "so now you're stealing hats, you must be hard up."
I’ve heated the game 12 times, 2 with 100% completition. And still haven’t found all these secrets! Thank you for telling me all about them, its making my RDR brain expand a wee bit more
It would have been interesting if when in the epilogue John would be able to decorate his house with all these trinkets
there also hidden viking comb in the viking tomb, everyone knows about the helmet and hatchet but behind one of those skull you can find the ancient viking comb

The cat eye the shark tooth the hawk talon and the turtle shell were pc exclusive only trinkets and you will NOT find them on the console versons (not sure about the xbox though) but ls4 is definitely not in it. Ive played sooo many times and kooked inthe correct locations and they don't spawn.

@@g-man4297 how they don't spawn? I've had the standard edition and the special edition though the special edition bonus content I wasn't able to access as the code to use had already been used as I bought second hand. Wonder if that's why hmm 🤔

This game doesn't fail on surprising me. Guys it is almost 2024 and the game was launched in 2018. Six years of playing and still finding new things. This is unbelievable.

I'm on my second play of this game. I started over at chapter eight because I missed so much first try. With all the secret items and tips on TH-cam it's infinite what you can do on RDR2.I'm blown away by this game. It's so COOL.
The fact that I had most of these from just playing the game thoroughly like a madman says a lot about my obsession with this absolute masterpiece

I didn't knew about the majority of these items (specially the scarecrows hats). I think it's time to revisit the game. The one i found and it's not on the video is that creepy shrink head inside a jar (i guess it's a jar in the "witch's house" with that cauldron, can't remember). It's a shame some of these items has no use like the meteorite pieces.

About the Native American Ring:
I don't know if that's just a problem with my game, but sometimes, when I tried to loot him, the chair bugs me out of the looting animation and I can never recover it again. If you don't wanna risk it happening to you, pick him up first and toss him away from the chair

When you reclaim the debts of J. John Weathers and choose the dishonourable option by not absolving the debt, you will get a unique *Silver Locket* valuable. It's not useful for anything but it is especially missable unless you're evil.

I love the fact that even to this day, you can still find hidden gems and easter eggs in this game. It truly is up there with one of the best games ever made. It's a shame that Rockstar don't bother with it now. This game has so much potential and it 's been wasted.

Am i right in thinking the Bachus place is/was Seth's home in the original RDR? Finding the statue there would make sense given his unusual loving habits. Same with the female statue, that poor lady literally humped herself to death!

I have never seen some of these items even after exploring the whole map and went to the exact place the video shown here and i believe some of these items appear on updated version while i always play on version 1.00 of the game.
May I ask why you would use the vanilla version 1 ?

they is 3 fertility trinkets one in a camp site in Cumberland forest also the 3rd meteorite outside the map hard to find

You can legit play this gameover and over and still never see what it has to offer. From dialog to items. Just one hell of a game

See, it's things like this that make a lot of people (myself included) think that R* is secretly adding things into RDR2 somehow. This game is so huge there are things we as a community are *still finding* 5 years later. If GTA6 has anything like this scale, we'll still be treasure hunting and finding secrets until 2040 😂

Good video but where you marked to get the miners hat was completely off went to your mark and it took me to the top of a mountain the actual mine was far right of the mountaine i was on
God I always had trouble NOT killing soldiers for the owl feather mission. And I have done like six playthroughs lol

its a pre buy thing, you get 6 golds, you inspect the tunnel and then the cemitery, and boom, 6 golds bars.
I have found the female fertility statue twice as Arthur. The first time at a specific location, I can't remember where. The second time was recently, it was just at some hunter's camp. He got up and left and I saw that it was there. However, I noticed I could only hold one at a time
They are only in one place each
