great video! I have to open up the junction box for the phase wires in my scooter so I can secure the nuts locking down the wires, will be applying some threadlocker and silicone to be extra secure / peace of mind they will never short out... apparently these can be a common failure point and cause fires so better safe than sorry.
I would love to modify my ninebot rear plate of vsett or zero X 10 Some fella made his ninebot max with zero 10x rear plate and it's so tricky part to make it fitted perfectly without any issues
@@RevRides360 I am still waiting for a motor change video, my rear motor broke off and has lot of vibration, wont turn smoothly and I feel notches inside of it
Thanks for the video, quick question, I put new controller on my brother’s vsetts10+ everything works, has the white wire speed limiter connected only on the controller. After installation the scooter drives only 15mph. They said disconnect it or cut the white wire to remove speed limiter. I cut it separate it, still 15 mph. Do you think I have to adjust something on the menu? thanks for the good video 👍🙂
No, it's because the Vsett ones are garbage and crap out after a year and they know you will need new ones, I have the 8 plus and my front wheel controller is jacked up and they refuse to send me a new one, I told them that when I'm riding in dual motor mode (the only mode that uses the front wheel) I can feel the front wheel struggling and randomly cutting out and coming back, they told me that I have to send them a video showing proof of this, how do I get a video of me riding it full speed and be able to show the scooter not having power sometimes to the front wheel. It's something you have to feel by riding it and it only happens once in a while, it's like they know I won't be able to do this so they hope I just buy a new one
I need some tips for my vsett 10 tires I had it for 3 weeks and got 3 flats on it. I weight 180 pounds normal speed 25-30 I don't use it aggressively just to go to work and school
its common on vest 10+ and isn't directly indicative of tyre pressure - standard tyres are cheap CST. I found that spending money on PMT e fires reduced this a lot. I am in the works of trying to upgrade 11" tyres on it. I think the 10+ should've been put with 11" tyres IMO.
Anyone find an electrical schematic for this controller yet? I’ve looked for similar models with a single speed controller for dual 60v motors, but the 10+ is the only one I know uses one.
Hi Thank you very much for this tutorial, I have a question for you if I have a problem with my Controller, there has been water, is it necessary to also change the display? thank you
You got a new sub. i managed to fry my 3 weeks old vsett10+ controller today wohoo. Been reading about the P11 setting. And i keept it on 1 -_Q. and i was riding today on my lunchbreak, the display showed 100% battery. And i was driving abit to fast. And needed to brake hard, the tire was screeching, leaving smoke behind, so yeah a emergency break :P But after that the front motor was completely dead, some vibration etc. So i contacted the store, and the dude said, its mostly the controller. Luckily me i dont have to resend the scooter to the store, they send me a new controller. So hopefully (thanks to you) i have a working Vsett 10+ again :) Ill managed to remove the controller without problems, so hopefully ill manage to put it back also :P
i got it.might be the same problem to my vs10 just now.the setting was the same, scenario and symptom also the same.might need new controller also😅.tq for mentioning that.regen system suck on these
Iv had my vsett 10+ for 2 months a 2 days and I'm getting error code 9 already. Iv not drove it like idiot iv took my time so I don't get why my controller is broken 😑
@@RevRides360 I bought through Alien Rides, I just had it shipped back. Tried a new controller first but didn’t have any luck. Hopefully they can fix it.
One year seems to be the standard for most electric scooters. Although you can buy an extended warranty if you need it through our website so long as the product was bought from us and your first year isn’t up yet.
@RevRides360 yes u did. But people who have no clue will just see there's alot of wires. And when yous know what wires are for what the people watching will have no clue. Which is why u should of taught them the proper way first
Why would any escooter need a controller change in the first place ? Wear & tear or what ? I thought this component was a maintenance free item ? Meaning leave it & forget it , but obviously not another cash outlay every time these more than likely Chinese knockoff made parts.
great video!

Super informative and easy to follow. Would love to see more vsett 11+ repair videos.

Vsett10+ has 127mm rear plate
Can you guys do a video on how to change the actual motor
Its a combination of the tire change and the controller but yeah we will work on that.

Great tutorial, thanks guys!
If I have 1 Vsett 10+ motor and I would like to make an electric scooter out of it, can I use other controller besides the original one?

Bonjour les contrôleurs de la Vsett 10 + sont-ils tous les même car j'ose pas en acheter un de peur que ce soit pas la la bonne référence.merci

Good morning, question why would you replace your controller? Can it be upgraded? For a better scooter performance.

Here’s a tip don’t buy a vsett 10+ I’ve had nothing but problems

Does standart Vsett controller have BMS (Battery Management System) feature ?
Wich v and ah must have the controuler for vsett 10 super? Tnx

I have a question does sinewave better than square wave ? I don't have any clue with one is original
Sine wave controllers typically have a smoother throttle response, while square wave controllers have higher efficiency and a more punchy response

Covered under warranty ? Blows my mind that a scooter $4000+ doesn’t have more that 1 year warranty (I have one by the way)
