If you're doing deck profiles, it would be great if you didn't keep flipping cards around in front of the camera while explaining what they do. It would be much better to simply hold a copy in front so we, as viewers, can read the effects while you discuss certain situations and applications of the card.
If you're willing to shove out the cash for demise and desires. This deck can keep up with the format quite well currently. I do agree that golem in the main is a necessary meta call. Volcanic queen is something I have noticed to side three of in case your opponent wants to just try to sit on denko for the rest of the time lol.
I play chain burn and I placed 26th place at the regional qualifiers. but I recommend only playing 2x lilith lady of lament 2x absolute back jack and 1 lazion the time lord for the monsters. and change the card of demise for 2 pot of desires and set the balance of judgement and d wall to 2 because they tend to clog and run ojama at three because if you open with a lilith and a desserts thats a free at lowest 1500. but also lilith lady of lament is generally good because if gives you a free trap card so if you want a desserts use lilith get three desserts and u get 1 free desserts. and i know this was made before the ban list but run 2 ring because its really good because if you activate it as link 1 and the other 4 links after burn u for 5000 it ring will still burn even if ur opponent is at 1lp and u burning them for 2000 from ring. and also run 1 blazing mirror force for the extra board wipe. and i forgot to mention that the absolute back jack is a staple they go off in the grave so its good if ur running demise but you get to see the top three cards and organize them and if you use the quick effect you can banish back jack and set 1 trap card in the feild during either players turn that really good if your in bad situations.
I played another version of Burn but not very different to this and i was in the Tops of Switzerlands National Championship. It was fun but not for my opponents XD.
Chain burn can definitely compete at a high level, most of these new generation kids that play zodiacs prob can't top with it but a og chain burn player can def get in the top players at a ycs.
Not a delusion if you been around the game long enough and not just in the last year you would know chain burn never dies and will continue to top events, the zodiac deck will die out come this fall so who gives a fuck about that deck topping events and where it's banned decks like that come to an end always.

chain burn is one of those sleeper decks that can shit all over an event if a good player is behind it. its one of those decks where youre going to win game 1 guaranteed. only some players still have denko sekka in the side. it takes a very smart player with good foresight to play a deck like this, it will stand the test of time. i agree with a lot of zoo players could never top with this deck
I hate attacking players. I tried Lightsworn, Atlantean, Junk synchron, Chaos and all they do is mess your game up.So I have this deck and it's fantastic but I still lose when they manage to come back with only 2000 - 1000 LP which is annoying and frustrating for me.
$40 without demise... would recommend getting them they help a lot, good surprise deck that no one will side for and won't get hit (unless konami goes mad) so will be able to play them forever
see, you could also build barrier statue stun as well with the demise and other draw power cards, then just have a whole bunch of battle traps as an alternative if you wanted to alternate between chain burn and barrier statue.

If you really want to run hand traps, you might prefer Swift Scarecrow over Fader. You don't exactly need Fader on the field for anything, and Scarecrow helps you to avoid anti-SS effects such as Warning. (I understand that if they pay LP for stuff like Warning, Fader's still doing a good thing. I've just come to notice that many people who still run Fader in this deck tend to really want it to actually hit the field for stuff like Ceasefire. I'm just not sure that that's worth it anymore.)
Infinity Factorial scarecrow targets and can easily be outed by infernoid tribute effects and drident if the opponent is bad. So yeah faded is definitelgnibfinitrly better because there's fewer outs to it.

I hate to be that guy, but I win consistently enough with my own Burn deck profile to bring this up. Now, whenever I play this deck online, I always get laughed at for being that guy with a 60 card deck, but I've been experimenting with this deck since the stone age, and I have found that it is one of those rare decks that not only can deal with, but actually benefits from having 60 cards in that it gives you a ton of ammunition while still maintaining a balance of stall and burn. And that is the key to this deck. If you draw a lot of monsters with flip effects, maybe try to limit the number of attacks per turn made by your opponent but don't cut off their attacks entirely so that they trigger your flip and destruction effects, and then stall them out entirely when you run out, or stall right from the beginning if you get a Lava Golem of a Stealth Bird and listen to them cry as they are completely defenseless against the slow death they are suffering. Warning: This deck turns the rules of Yu-Gi-Oh on their head. Since it's primary focus is stalling while your burn your opponent's LP away with effects, they will almost never make a single meaningful attack and many of their card effects won't help, even with many of the broken meta decks of yore. You also will almost never declare an attack, so their trap cards will often become all but useless as well. Your opponent can essentially do nothing but watch as you take anywhere from 4-15 turns to kill them, and they WILL hate you passionately for that. Yes, the monsters are far outnumbered by spells and traps so hands with no monsters are common. Remember, though, that this deck does not play by the rules. No monsters with this deck doesn't necessarily mean a dead hand. You can often still do damage and/or stall your opponent completely without any monsters at all. In fact, it is most accurate to say that most of the monsters are just there for "ammunition." Each damaging card effect in the deck increases the total damage potential of the deck, which is why the deck has 60 cards. You then balance the large number of burn cards with large numbers of stall cards. Not to mention the fact that, if the match really draws out for some reason, your opponent will almost certainly deck out before you. Feel free to point and laugh at Lightsworn players. Monsters 23x 3x Lava Golem 3x Blast Sphere (Punish power players hard for attacking recklessly) 3x Des Koala (Turn large hands against the opponent. Can hit hard if the match draws out, which it often will.) 3x Stealth Bird (Another 1000 LP damage per turn card like Lava Golem, the lack of tributes hurts less because killing your opponent's cards is extremely unimportant for this deck. In fact, you will almost never even declare an attack unless your opponent got a dead hand and is wide open. Play this card once you have gone into full stall mode so it doesn't get bumped off.) 3x Marshmallon (Extremely good for this strategy as it both damages and stalls.) 3x Giant Germ (Punishing your opponent for attacking, followed by searching your deck for more cards that punish your opponent for attacking.) 3x Cyber Valley (Draw extra cards while also skipping your opponent's entire battle phase. Sure, they can also choose not to attack it first, but nearly all the monsters here punish your opponent for doing just that.) 2x Battle Fader (Your last line of defense should your stall fail for some reason. You won't use it often, but it will save you the match on occasion.) Spells 19x 1x One Day of Peace 2x Swords of Revealing Light (The OG stall card is still effective for stalling, and can give you some extra turns to draw your more permanent stall cards or build up a minefield of monsters with burning flip and destruction effects.) 2x Terraforming (Search Spider Web) 3x Level Limit - Area B (Ineffective on XYZs, but many of the other cards here will cover that base. Much of the time you will summon your Lava Golems using your opponent's XYZ cards or they will be stalled by some other card and you won't worry about that weakness.) 2x The Dark Door (Good on its own as a stall card. Combine it with Scrap Iron Scarecrow and the defense is total. Even better than Messenger of Peace.) 3x Stumbling (Your opponent cannot declare an attack on the same turn their cards are summoned, and also helps to mitigate damage from flipping Des Koala on your turn or the damage from the special summoned Giant Germs being destroyed.) 3x Messenger of Peace (You know why this is here.) 3x Spider Web (Your opponent's monsters can only attack once per turn. Helps to stall if the more defensive ones aren't out yet.) Traps 18x 3x Just Deserts (Extremely effective when combined with stall. Your opponent will likely fill out their entire field over the course of the match. Once three or more monsters are down, blast them with this trap.) 3x Secret Barrel (Do damage. Yay. Exponentially more effective over a long, drawn out match, like the ones this deck tends to cause.) 1x Threatening Roar (Just an extra little line of defense.) 2x Ceasefire (Like Just Deserts, but your own cards count. Can deal massive damage.) 3x Magic Cylinder (Yes, I know. This card is casual, yada yada yada. It accomplishes both of the goals of this deck - stall and damage. Big damage, oftentimes.) 1x Compulsory Evacuation Device (Plenty of ways to use this card with this deck. You can get rid of an opponent's monster you don't like, recycle a Des Koala, recycle a Lava Golem, you name it.) 3x Scrap Iron Scarecrow (A great stall card on its own, impenetrable when combined with The Dark Door.) 2x Mask of Restrict (Helps to keep Kaijus from getting rid of Marshmallon or prevent Tribute heavy decks from tributing Lava Golem. Get this, some stall, and Lava Golem out and your opponent might as well just surrender.) Extra Deck (Optional. You won't use it that often.) 1x Number S39: Utopia the Lightning (You will almost never use it. It, along with all the other 4th level XYZs are just there to fill out my extra deck in YGOPro.) 1x Number C39: Utopia Ray (Summon this onto Utopia, then summon Utopia the Lightning. It can then use its effect twice.) 1x Number 39: Utopia 1x Gagaga Gunman (This is the first card I would go to if for some reason you got two Blast Spheres after obtaining complete defenses, but I haven't been in that situation yet.) 3x Wind-Up Zenmaines (The stalliest of XYZ monsters. Sometimes you can play him if you use some leftover Des Koalas or Marshmallons.) 1x Number 49: Fortune Tune (Make your opponent feel bad about themselves while you gain lifepoints while they lose them.) 2x Number 65: Djinn Buster (You can summon Rank 2s with your Giant Germs if you feel they would be better spent that way. This one will damage your opponent for trying to use card effects to get around your defenses.) 2x Gachi Gachi Gantetsu (More stall) 1x Shyneet Magician (You will almost never get off Rank 1s, but if for some reason your opponent refuses to attack Cyber Valleys, feel free here I guess. Been playing since 1998...we used Japanese cards, never knew this type of deck was a BURN DECK it was just a strategy...I suppose I can see why these new kids think spending money on cards is the thing to do...I would buy packs for one dollar at the Asian store and the fun part was actually scoring a rare to secret rare in a pack, I thought that was the funniest part. It surprised me that my deck would be called a scrub deck nowadays, yet would still bring the pain hahaha, another thing that surprises me is that the "burn" cards I used for my combos I haven't seen in any video so far, and they write all common cards...? Wish I could rebuild that deck again and show these youngsters up...it was 40 cards and made so that even a side deck couldn't counter it.
my deck is only 80 to 90 bucks lol acording to priceing online but ive put maybe 140 to 150 bucks into it. still its a budget deck an very smooth to run

Italianyugioh99 too slow, and must be Chain Link 4 or above. Ideally you want your Chain Strike(s) at the top of the chain for maximum damage. Too much draw power can actually be deadly in this deck for the player.
Not true. Set it face down and let them raigeki, dark hole, kaiju slumber, or even attack into it. Normal summon it to then sacrifice it with Destruction Ring. Not to mention, his graveyard effect is a quick effect that can be chained. Get that dimension wall, ring of destruction, secret barrel/blast, or just desserts on board. Works so well with the deck.
You asked me a question, I responded with a valid response. The card is way too slow for an already slow and handicapped deck. If you had a perspective that you believed in, what was the point of asking me? This isn't Paleozoics with Fiend Griefing lol.
I asked because you didn't have him in the deck and asked why. You then said he was terrible and I explained how he helps the deck against some of the meta. Perhaps one day I will upload my Chain Burn deck and have people shit all over it.
I recommend a set of Volcanic Queen (there's a comment below that explains why) and, obviously, the third Lava Golem. I prefer to side situationally with this deck, so that means I have a set of Bad Luck Blast for whenever I see Twin Twisters in Game 1 or 2. I also side pairs of D.D. Dynamite (for countering Desires and anything with Fairy Tail - Snow) and Cemetary Bomb (for 60-card decks, especially ones with That Grass). You can also consider more Denko/Jinzo counters like Dark Hole/Raigeki/Slumber (although Kaiju are risky because of Demise) or you can try the opposite, playing toward your Secret Barrels and Blasts by giving your opponent cards with Book of Eclipse. Another option would be to run a transformational side with Barrier Statues, Moon Mirror Shield, and different Mirror Forces. It depends on what you like.

Are you watching Seto Kaibas friend playing Felgrands on TH-cam? That deck is not very consistent indeed ( Some people think that adding Blue Eyes and Stones of legend and Ancients automatically increases the consistency and draw power, however blue eyes out of his archetype remains just a 3k vanilla beater.) I assure you that Felgrands can be very impressive and competitive, with one of the best comeback abilities I have seen in the game, not to mention the new rules coming out that will damage pendulum summoning and extra deck.

Chain burn can loose easy to side, but it naturally counters Zoodiac's just like barriers. Zoodiacs do well because they generate "Advantage"

Not to mention the fact that, if the match really draws out for some reason, your opponent will almost certainly deck out before you. Feel free to point and laugh at Lightsworn players.
Some of these stall cards obviously don't provide a total defense, but they do help give you time to get those cards and to simply slow your opponent while you still want them to trigger destruction effects. Playing many of them can also trigger your opponent to waste their MST or other card destruction effects on a less valuable target. And of course you have so many that that fact alone mitigates any weakness to decks heavy with cards that can destroy them.
Two things: This deck has a minor weakness to Utopia the Lightning. If he attacks, he can't be negated by cards like Scrap Iron Scarecrow and he won't trigger flip or destruction effects, which can hurt. You can stop him before he kills you most of the time with Messenger of Peace or Lava Golem though, so the weakness isn't too glaring. The deck is also extremely weak to Secret Village of the Spellcasters, but that's a card that comes up so infrequently that I don't consider it glaring.

3x Lava Golem
3x Blast Sphere (Punish power players hard for attacking recklessly)
3x Des Koala (Turn large hands against the opponent. Can hit hard if the match draws out, which it often will.)
3x Stealth Bird (Another 1000 LP damage per turn card like Lava Golem, the lack of tributes hurts less because killing your opponent's cards is extremely unimportant for this deck. In fact, you will almost never even declare an attack unless your opponent got a dead hand and is wide open. Play this card once you have gone into full stall mode so it doesn't get bumped off.)
3x Marshmallon (Extremely good for this strategy as it both damages and stalls.)
3x Giant Germ (Punishing your opponent for attacking, followed by searching your deck for more cards that punish your opponent for attacking.)
3x Cyber Valley (Draw extra cards while also skipping your opponent's entire battle phase. Sure, they can also choose not to attack it first, but nearly all the monsters here punish your opponent for doing just that.)
2x Battle Fader (Your last line of defense should your stall fail for some reason. You won't use it often, but it will save you the match on occasion.)

1x One Day of Peace
2x Swords of Revealing Light (The OG stall card is still effective for stalling, and can give you some extra turns to draw your more permanent stall cards or build up a minefield of monsters with burning flip and destruction effects.)
2x Terraforming (Search Spider Web)
3x Level Limit - Area B (Ineffective on XYZs, but many of the other cards here will cover that base. Much of the time you will summon your Lava Golems using your opponent's XYZ cards or they will be stalled by some other card and you won't worry about that weakness.)
2x The Dark Door (Good on its own as a stall card. Combine it with Scrap Iron Scarecrow and the defense is total. Even better than Messenger of Peace.)
3x Stumbling (Your opponent cannot declare an attack on the same turn their cards are summoned, and also helps to mitigate damage from flipping Des Koala on your turn or the damage from the special summoned Giant Germs being destroyed.)
3x Messenger of Peace (You know why this is here.)
3x Spider Web (Your opponent's monsters can only attack once per turn. Helps to stall if the more defensive ones aren't out yet.)
Traps 18x
3x Just Deserts (Extremely effective when combined with stall. Your opponent will likely fill out their entire field over the course of the match. Once three or more monsters are down, blast them with this trap.)
3x Secret Barrel (Do damage. Yay. Exponentially more effective over a long, drawn out match, like the ones this deck tends to cause.)
1x Threatening Roar (Just an extra little line of defense.)
2x Ceasefire (Like Just Deserts, but your own cards count. Can deal massive damage.)
3x Magic Cylinder (Yes, I know. This card is casual, yada yada yada. It accomplishes both of the goals of this deck - stall and damage. Big damage, oftentimes.)
1x Compulsory Evacuation Device (Plenty of ways to use this card with this deck. You can get rid of an opponent's monster you don't like, recycle a Des Koala, recycle a Lava Golem, you name it.)
3x Scrap Iron Scarecrow (A great stall card on its own, impenetrable when combined with The Dark Door.)
2x Mask of Restrict (Helps to keep Kaijus from getting rid of Marshmallon or prevent Tribute heavy decks from tributing Lava Golem. Get this, some stall, and Lava Golem out and your opponent might as well just surrender.)
Extra Deck (Optional. You won't use it that often.)
1x Number S39: Utopia the Lightning (You will almost never use it. It, along with all the other 4th level XYZs are just there to fill out my extra deck in YGOPro.)
1x Number C39: Utopia Ray (Summon this onto Utopia, then summon Utopia the Lightning. It can then use its effect twice.)
1x Number 39: Utopia
1x Gagaga Gunman (This is the first card I would go to if for some reason you got two Blast Spheres after obtaining complete defenses, but I haven't been in that situation yet.)
3x Wind-Up Zenmaines (The stalliest of XYZ monsters. Sometimes you can play him if you use some leftover Des Koalas or Marshmallons.)
1x Number 49: Fortune Tune (Make your opponent feel bad about themselves while you gain lifepoints while they lose them.)
2x Number 65: Djinn Buster (You can summon Rank 2s with your Giant Germs if you feel they would be better spent that way. This one will damage your opponent for trying to use card effects to get around your defenses.)
2x Gachi Gachi Gantetsu (More stall)
1x Shyneet Magician (You will almost never get off Rank 1s, but if for some reason your opponent refuses to attack Cyber Valleys, feel free here I guess. Stall, and negates card effects.)
1x Number 54: Lion Heart (Stall, and you can attack your opponent's much stronger monsters with it to deal damage to them.)
Been playing since 1998...we used Japanese cards, never knew this type of deck was a BURN DECK it was just a strategy...I suppose I can see why these new kids think spending money on cards is the thing to do...I would buy packs for one dollar at the Asian store and the fun part was actually scoring a rare to secret rare in a pack, I thought that was the funniest part. It surprised me that my deck would be called a scrub deck nowadays, yet would still bring the pain hahaha, another thing that surprises me is that the "burn" cards I used for my combos I haven't seen in any video so far, and they write all common cards...? Wish I could rebuild that deck again and show these youngsters up...it was 40 cards and made so that even a side deck couldn't counter it.

You can use 3x dark snake syndrome instead of card of demise. I tried it and it demolishes true draco players
why not accumulated fortune?
Italianyugioh99 too slow, and must be Chain Link 4 or above. Ideally you want your Chain Strike(s) at the top of the chain for maximum damage. Too much draw power can actually be deadly in this deck for the player.
Accumulated Fortune is a good replacement for Card of Demise. It is a bit slower but it won't impact the deck too badly.
Nathan Williams its really necessary tho, how are you going to stay alive to see your demise without it

Not true. Set it face down and let them raigeki, dark hole, kaiju slumber, or even attack into it. Normal summon it to then sacrifice it with Destruction Ring. Not to mention, his graveyard effect is a quick effect that can be chained. Get that dimension wall, ring of destruction, secret barrel/blast, or just desserts on board. Works so well with the deck.
You asked me a question, I responded with a valid response. The card is way too slow for an already slow and handicapped deck. If you had a perspective that you believed in, what was the point of asking me? This isn't Paleozoics with Fiend Griefing lol.
I asked because you didn't have him in the deck and asked why. You then said he was terrible and I explained how he helps the deck against some of the meta. Perhaps one day I will upload my Chain Burn deck and have people shit all over it.

Does anybody have a good side deck for it?
I recommend a set of Volcanic Queen (there's a comment below that explains why) and, obviously, the third Lava Golem. I prefer to side situationally with this deck, so that means I have a set of Bad Luck Blast for whenever I see Twin Twisters in Game 1 or 2. I also side pairs of D.D. Dynamite (for countering Desires and anything with Fairy Tail - Snow) and Cemetary Bomb (for 60-card decks, especially ones with That Grass). You can also consider more Denko/Jinzo counters like Dark Hole/Raigeki/Slumber (although Kaiju are risky because of Demise) or you can try the opposite, playing toward your Secret Barrels and Blasts by giving your opponent cards with Book of Eclipse.
Another option would be to run a transformational side with Barrier Statues, Moon Mirror Shield, and different Mirror Forces. It depends on what you like.

That deck is not very consistent indeed ( Some people think that adding Blue Eyes and Stones of legend and Ancients automatically increases the consistency and draw power, however blue eyes out of his archetype remains just a 3k vanilla beater.)
I assure you that Felgrands can be very impressive and competitive, with one of the best comeback abilities I have seen in the game, not to mention the new rules coming out that will damage pendulum summoning and extra deck.
