Firstly, yes this is a remaster (as the original sounded as if it was recorded with a potato) with a hell of a lot more information added. Secondly, for those asking why I didn't include the character of Illiyan Nastase, this is due to the character pretty much being retconned from existence after 1st edition and replaced by Tiguirus. Plus with changes to how the Imperium view Xenos as a whole, there would be no way that he would be allowed anywhere close to the ranks of the Dark Angels, who are one of _the most_ xenophobic chapters out there (since he was originally from the Ultramarines then transferred to the Dark Angels, for some reason) so it seemed kinda pointless to include him. That being said, we *did* get Ael Wyntor... UPDATE: Illiyan Nastase is within the new Dawn of Fire book, but has been retconned to be an Aledari Farseer rather than a Space Marine Librarian Hybrid.

Ooooh riiiight!" long answer: have you heard of the Imperial Guard Medic Guron Berry, and Eldar Banshee Exarch Lanissa ze'Thick? it is not a story many know. they met on a human ship called the Prometheus, and after serving together for some time, entered into a secret relationship, eventually they became husband and wife. they would often go to Lanissa's quarters for private meetings and "wrestling" matches. one day they got a little too into it, and Lanissa accidentally caused a bilateral fissure of Guron's pelvis area, and would have snapped his back into pieces if he hadn't cried out and fallen, wincing and spasming in pain off the Eldar's bed. the Guardsmen told the Banshee Exarch that the Prime-orks of the War with the Beast were no match for her thighs, before limping his way down to the medicae bay for healing. due to the severity of the fissure, he was there for quite a while before returning to duty.

ah, gone are the days when comorragh was the place with the highest amount of human-eldar hybrids in the galaxy, then again, roboute and yvraine are probably at it trying to find out if its possible.
With so much differences between the DNA and so many physiological differences, it's clearly impossible. But "impossible" in 40k is just another word for "until GW decide it's possible".
Question: If the emperor were alive today would he forget his petty prejudice toward the eldar (and they in turn drop their arrogance and superiority complex) and work together as allies (and maybe even friends) against the threats of chaos, necrons and tyranids? That to me would ensure the survival and salvation of both races....and most probably see the birth of many more hybrids ;)
Well the thing about the Emperor is while he’s a man, his entire existence is devoted to the betterment of mankind and particularly its dominance over the galaxy. Now here’s where the Necrons know something the Emperor somehow never thought of: no empire lasts. Even on Earth, much less the galaxy. So considering his judgment is flawed enough to think he could ever create an eternal imperium for mankind, I doubt he would see the reason in an alliance with races like the aeldari or Tau.
Not exactly related to the video but kinda due to the existence of hybrid characters back during the first edition, what is your stance on retcons in 40k? And have you’ve heard of Luetin09s arguments such to why retcons isn’t a thing in 40k?
I'm aware he's made a video on it, though I haven't actually watched it, I'll admit, so I don't know his exact talking points in this regard. If you go by the definition of Retcon as a verb (which is to revise (an aspect of a fictional work) retrospectively, typically by introducing a piece of new information that imposes a different interpretation on previously described events.) then retcons are totally a thing in 40K. In this instance you can argue that the entirety of the Horus Heresy novel series is a massive retcon, because it introduces new information that was absent in the original depictions from the late 80's/early 90's. Then there's the new versions of the Dark Imperium novels coming out, which Guy Hayley has outright stated to be retcons of the original novels from a few years ago to bring them more in line with the ongoing Dawn of Fire series, so there's that.
@@40KTheories It's a video worth checking out when ya have the chance. Though admittedly, you tend to need a lot of spare time to get through a Luetin video due to their length and how much he covers in detail. Regardless, thanks for your insight on the matter. ^^
Here’s a question did the aeldari ever actually evolve or hav they always been the same since the old ones made them if so that makes them a weak species
I'm no loremaster but as far as I know, Eldar physique is already "perfect" for them. I take this conclusion based on War in Heaven, the birth of Slaanesh and the explanation I got about Eldar and Dark Eldar in general. Unlike other factions Aeldari is the only one that didn't have evolution-ish capability. Ork used to be Krork and will became them if they get better opponent, Necrontyr "evolved" from flesh to metal, Tau used to have no Ethereal and I see them as some sort of their race evolution to better face the galaxy, Tyranid is evolution incarnate, Daemon is basically the physical manifestation what the entire galaxy want them (not) to be, and even mankind have some sort of evolution, like Ogryn or mutant in general, that differ from place to place (mutation is basically a mini evolution). I even never heard of Aeldari mutant, feel free to correct me. To be fair, I excludes Drukhari because I'm not sure whether they're just Eldar that basically "choose" BDSM to feed Slaanesh to save their soul or already Daemon-Aeldari mutant. Plus Drukhari mutation, extra hands and such, is likely self inflicted and I didn't count that as part of evolution because its only affect individual.
And I disagree about them weak as species. It's just that they have special attention from Slaanesh and basically having nothing between them and it. Just imagine Imperium without Emperor's anti warp, humanity is just lucky to not become Eldar 2.0. Actually the fact that Eldar can put up fight against all others faction despite of their condition is proof enough that they're strong species. The only weak species in 40k is the one not mentioned, because they already dead or still under the boots of other stronger species/Underdeveloped like Tau used to be.
@@fabulousimcatbulous690 they’ve never struggled for anything they were given immense pysker powers by the old ones they also never had to use the warp for interstellar travel all they did was take over what the old ones had already made then kept it for themselves. They wouldn’t even have to be effective and could be abominations but seeing the horrific love that some of them put into their creations and how Space Marines purge. Give a semi immortal a grudge and they can do anything
At some point, We are going to learn of a enclave of Human-Eldar hybrids who were created to learn if there are any advantages to the blending of the species. Certain factions within the IoM will hide are knowledge of these people and the Aeldari will do likewise, but they will be found by the Drukari and enslaved only to be rescued by Iom Forces who will then exterminate them as "abominations to Humans and Eldar" though some will escape under the guise of being abhumans. Because the records are so badly skewed and incomplete by M40 these hybrids are accepted as abhumans, who just happen to get along quite well with Eldar. "While less... advanced... as we. These scions of our lineages are not bound to 'she who thirsts'. If we can not save ourselves, an echo of our being shall at least remain."

long answer: have you heard of the Imperial Guard Medic Guron Berry, and Eldar Banshee Exarch Lanissa ze'Thick? it is not a story many know.
they met on a human ship called the Prometheus, and after serving together for some time, entered into a secret relationship, eventually they became husband and wife. they would often go to Lanissa's quarters for private meetings and "wrestling" matches. one day they got a little too into it, and Lanissa accidentally caused a bilateral fissure of Guron's pelvis area, and would have snapped his back into pieces if he hadn't cried out and fallen, wincing and spasming in pain off the Eldar's bed. the Guardsmen told the Banshee Exarch that the Prime-orks of the War with the Beast were no match for her thighs, before limping his way down to the medicae bay for healing. due to the severity of the fissure, he was there for quite a while before returning to duty.

ah, gone are the days when comorragh was the place with the highest amount of human-eldar hybrids in the galaxy, then again, roboute and yvraine are probably at it trying to find out if its possible.
In the early editions of 40k there was an Ultramarine Librarian who was a human-eldar hybrid, Illiyan Nastase. It is possible, just exceedingly rare.
Check the pinned comment :3
With so much differences between the DNA and so many physiological differences, it's clearly impossible. But "impossible" in 40k is just another word for "until GW decide it's possible".
Question: If the emperor were alive today would he forget his petty prejudice toward the eldar (and they in turn drop their arrogance and superiority complex) and work together as allies (and maybe even friends) against the threats of chaos, necrons and tyranids? That to me would ensure the survival and salvation of both races....and most probably see the birth of many more hybrids ;)
What you mean IF the Emperor was alive
Well the thing about the Emperor is while he’s a man, his entire existence is devoted to the betterment of mankind and particularly its dominance over the galaxy. Now here’s where the Necrons know something the Emperor somehow never thought of: no empire lasts. Even on Earth, much less the galaxy. So considering his judgment is flawed enough to think he could ever create an eternal imperium for mankind, I doubt he would see the reason in an alliance with races like the aeldari or Tau.

@@themachinegodomnissiah2146 Excellent question to weed out heretics.
You telling me the Assassinorum isn't working on hybrids? Sounds like something they would 100% would do.

Can eldar and humans interbreed? LETS ASK GUILLIMAN.
They are a joke and need to die off as a species imagine being given everything by physical gods and then fucking it all up literally
IIRC Eldar genome is extremely stable. No genetic drift or mutations. Therefore they can remain the same for millions of years.

6:02 For me this description sounds rather.... slaneeshi. I would not be suprised if she was "just" a human, blessed by the Prince of Pleasure.
Or maybe an eldar posing as human. Not uncommon.
