No problem. Happy to help. There are many different patches and other options on the SLD forums. Here is the link: forum.501stsithlords.com/index.php?/topic/11797-vader-voice-changer-zoom-multistomp/#comments If you go through that thread, the patches get better and better. But, of course, you need to mold the patch to your setup. My voice sounds completely different running from the Zoom to one Aker compared to running it to my transducers on my armor. There’s a lot of trial and error. Happy to help!
Excellent video. Followed it step by step. Everything is plugged in correctly and turned on but i cant get any sound to come out of my speaker. I checked to make sure it wasn’t muted. Any ideas on what the issue could be?
Thanks so much for posting this. You've helped another Vader in Denver, CO just in time for "May the 4th" Festivities. Most Impressive! Darth Robert on SLD
I tried the BOYA Microphone on my Zoom MS50 and it`s not working when the Zoom is powered up with Batteries. As soon as I put the microphone all in, the Zoom turns off. When using the power suply, it works fine. Pretty dump and useless. Not sure how to fix that.

Could you please tell me what brand and what size adapter and cable you are using that is going from the pedal to the speaker? (The ones on the left). I’m having major issues with mine!! The male part of the cable doesn’t fit correctly into the female part of the adapter and it’s causing me to lose sound. Have you experienced this problem? If so, how did you correct it? I’m thinking of buying a different brand of adapter and cable that will hopefully fit better!! Thanks for this tutorial!!! I would have never been able to program my Zoom without it!!!
@@Schwarzgeist89 you also. Amazon denied my application to be an affiliate so I choose not to link to them. It wouldn’t be a lot of cash in my pocket, minimal I’m sure, but it’s the principle.
Just buy the items and start playing. The easiest setup is just running it to a single Aker, or the like. You use the mic that came with the Aker. Then you buy the microphone booster, a Zoom, and a couple of adapters and cords and you’re on your way. The Zoom CAN be updated via their website and a computer. In fact, if you get a new one, you should update the firmware right away. They also give you more presets if you link via the computer. But it isn’t necessary.
Also, Walmart is the new go-to for the mic booster. Here is a link. It does the exact same thing the Pyle used to. www.walmart.com/ip/Mini-Portable-Wired-Electret-Condenser-Lapel-Lavalier-Clip-on-Musical-Instrument-Mic-Microphone-for-Guitar-Sax-Trumpet-Violin-Piano/180480903

Hosa GPP-151 1/4" TS to 1/4" TS Right Angle Adaptor a.co/d/78URadU Get a couple of those. One for in, one for out. Planet Vader Thanks for the reply! I just received it the other day, a bit too late to use for Halloween though! I'm really interested in creating a 501 approved Vader outfit one day, it may have to be gradual. I picked up a cheaper aker type amplifier however I wasn't impressed as it would give bad feedback noise. Would you suggest getting the aker or could I just use a Bluetooth type speaker that can be used by cable input as opposed to actual Bluetooth? I have looked at the transducer type speakers but I have no idea how to go about hooking that up from beginning to end. Thanks alot for your help!
Hi, the aker MR1505 is a great little speaker and is load enough for any costume ( it’s too loud sometimes as I run it with my Tusken Raider costume too ) The transducers are stuck to your chest armour using double sided tape ( automotive is great ) and you’ll need a soldering iron as you wire them with normal speaker cable and add a 3.5 jack on the end to plug into your amp 😉
The mic attaches to the microphone booster on the right side of the Zoom. That’s the input side. The left side is the output side and runs to your speaker/amp/what have you.
I wanted to know what type of microphone you are using. The microphone that came with the voice booster has a 3.5mm plug but using a connector from 1/4 to 3.55 doesn't cause the mike to be picked up through the zoom
First, did you put a battery in the mic booster? After that, any mic should work. I happen to be using an old Radio Shack uni-directional mic. I have also used the mic that comes with my Aker with no problems. If you have a battery in the booster and still no sound out of the zoom, plug the booster directly in without the “L” adapter. I’ve gotten some “L” adapters to work and some haven’t.
Kim Mundy the Pyle in the video is the mic booster. You need to put a battery into it. No need for a powered mic. It’s a mic booster. It turns every mic into a powered mic.
@@augstero9212 I happened across a short youtube video that explained your setup. now i'm looking for that booster so something like it with little results. thanks for the helpful updates
