I ate lunch in high school with Nick and Chris these guys have always been dedicated talented musicians and I love seeing them get success and notoriety they deserve every bit of it. Dedication to the craft has paid off. I love their sound and energy hope to see them live one day.
Never really knew these dudes until recently seeing them on tour with Drain. They came to Brass Mug in, Tampa FL. And I was crazy impressed. Not only by the sound these guys have but their energy moving the crowd. Unforgettable band, and I have been listening to them nonstop since. LOVE YOU DRUG CHURCH THANK YOU FOR BEING UNIQUELY YOU!!
9:20 wish they would release instrumentals, nothing against Patrick but Nick's guitar tones are just sooo good I wanna be able to enjoy them instrumentally too
lol at 14:29 you should really consider playing Indonesia though after your Japan runs!! as long as the promoter don't f up your visas, you guys should be good to go with the band's name
To be fair, patrick is performing as a lead man, not necessarily as a by the books singer. Hes known for getting crowds moving and being entertaining. this band comes from hardcore. Its no surprise that he sounds that way to many listeners.
If you like the album versions of these tunes vocally then you prolly won’t love this performance (I do because I just love them) but musically they’re on point as usual.
THANKS FOR WATCHING!!

NEW VIDEOS EVERY WEEK!!
Nick Cogan’s sound of a Jazzmaster through a Tubescreamer into a RAT into a JC-120 is my current favorite guitar tone.
Dudes sound is really unique , the gig they played at the Presbyterian church was fun to watch.
He literally said in this video he uses a jazz chorus
@@trippwilsonphoto shit you right for some reason I read JCM 800
This… this and the voice make it for me.
This and this only.... only discovered them 3 days ago and soooooo glad I did!!

When did you graduate?
One of my favorite bands, one that is absolutely electric live
🤘🤘 Thanks for watching!
saw these guys last week so good
The best.
Tim Robinson sounds great
it's illegal for you to ask me that
Thats tony hawk!
Next song better be bones are their money..
Got to play a show with these dudes in tuscon and they were not only super rad dudes, they absolutely melted the venue...

I'm fucking heartbroken I missed them in Tampa
i live in Tampa and fuuuu
I was at this show. Got my nose broke to Drain, but Drug Church is my favorite show ever
When he said the PIXIES were a main influence….i knew there was a reason I instantly fell in love with this band
i swear these guys have the best riffs and most of them aren’t hard to play so like the intermediate guitarist dream there so good
All about the tones
This is awesome! Thank you. I just wish the interview was longer and included more about their gear.
Nick Cogan cannot be stopped.
Couldnt find another hard and melodic sounding group of artists. Drug CHURCH for Life!
check out Squint
Nick Cogan is the king of tone
9:20 wish they would release instrumentals, nothing against Patrick but Nick's guitar tones are just sooo good I wanna be able to enjoy them instrumentally too
There’s an app called Moises.
Lol love how Pat is just awkwardly standing in place at the beginning
chaotic feel good music
Best guitarist out atm, Nick is a beast
Agreed
Man come on now. You can't be serious.
@@SlappaccinoCare to explain?
Really? Power chords and harmonics with a bit of tremolo . Really?

Goated band
Damn those drums sound so good...love those K cymbals.
That bass tone tho
Ever been drug to church by your parents & the sermon sounded like this ?
band is a riff factory
Ear worm after ear worm, they just don't miss.
This might be the first time he’s trying to sing like the album live lol
“I only write in the studio wasting a Label’s time and money” 😂❤
Buenísima grabación, muy bakan banda y nombre de banda jaja
Self defense family next please
Damn that is some sick shit. NICE
🤘🤘
love this band
Pat still sounds so good even if his voice is off due to whatever the reasoning. 🤘🏻
they've been on tour since late May, so his voice has definitely been through it!
Myopic lead is so sick
Awesome mix minus Pat’s vocals being way too quiet.
That's a good thing, in my opinion.

Drug Church for life 🤙🏼
Bassist must be Mike Dirnt's fan
❤❤❤❤
Nick cant miss in any band
I love everything about this band but the dad in me finds it a hard watch when only the drummer is wearing ear plugs.
This band fucking rules! But I like the name Scum Hornet better.
The goats
🔥🔥🔥

What an amazing band, with a talentless singer that contributes nothing. Jesus they are so good, ditch that dude and become a #1 band.
To be fair, patrick is performing as a lead man, not necessarily as a by the books singer. Hes known for getting crowds moving and being entertaining. this band comes from hardcore. Its no surprise that he sounds that way to many listeners.
His lyrics are incredible, his voice might not be easy on the ears necessarily but the band would not be the same without him
WAY out of your element my dude.
If you like the album versions of these tunes vocally then you prolly won’t love this performance (I do because I just love them) but musically they’re on point as usual.
What model Jazzmaster is Nick playing here?
It's a custom shop, from the looks of the bridge
@@erodingshell what kind of bridge?
@@slimturnpike The RSD bridge. Fender only has them made for Custom Shop Jags / Jazzmasters.
59 customshop, asked the man himself
