Bird used to talk smack to MJ when he was young too lol. There's a story (not sure if true); before a game between the NBA Stars and the '84 Olympic team (summer of 1984 before MJ even played in the NBA), both teams were doing their drills and whatever on their side of the court before the game. Apparently a ball from the Olympic team end rolled over to the All Star team end and MJ went to get it. The ball ended up rolling to Larry Bird's feet. MJ stuck out his hand for Bird to give him the ball back but instead of doing that Bird shot the ball over MJ's head lol. He knew MJ was going to be a problem in the league so tried to gain a little mental edge from the get go

Fun Fact: I'm a construction manager in NYC. I'm 52. I had a colleague, from Syosset Long Island, who attended Georgetown in the 90's...same time as A.I. The colleague had a lecture class in a lecture hall where A.I. attended the class that ended just before. Apparently, one day Iverson left a drawing...something he was doodling during class...on scrap paper. My colleague's brother kept the doodle. The shxt was INCREDIBLE!!! A.I. is a magnificent artist.

For those who clearly didn't see it Jordan's hand was still in Iverson's face go back and watch it no ankles were broke no one fell over it was decent but stop embellishing. Also I love how they completely leave out the fact that Jordan annihilated him the next time he saw him. I love Allen Iverson aka bubba Chuck but I have a biased opinion because I grew up with him I know his whole family his mom etc but even so I can admit that that crossover wasn't bad at all and all he did was piss off the Superman. Seems like sports outlets in general are trying to tear down Michael Jordan who happens to be one of the most successful African Americans in history.

If Iverson did squats and deadlifts and took strength conditioning even mildly seriously he would have been like a taller spud Webb. As explosive as he was without the conditioning.

2:25 Yup, often times, Mike is also sarcastic. I also say sarcastic things to my friends and close acquaintances. Like for example, when my friend gets hurt (something not worth getting worried about) in front of me, I would make fun of him and say "lol you almost died there" and he would reply in the same manner "man, I was scared to death my whole life flashed in front of me"
Only people close enough would be able to talk this way.
