The silver and burgundy Stearman at 6:13 was restored by my late uncle and his friend in a garage. It was purchased by Apollo 8 Commander Frank Borman before it was brought to the museum. Thanks for the tour, can't wait to get there.
I don’t see too many drip catchers under those airplanes. I guess they finally took the stuffed and mounted approach instead of the ready to fly approach that they had a few years ago.
