Did 5 hobbies with my kids today and got 3 autos out of the 5. I loved it they loved it .. not just for kids
I could imagine a kid being really happy with some foils, some cool looking inserts, some base cards of their favorite players and rookies, and an auto. I’m not a kid but I might pick these up, these seem like some fun rips. 50 bucks isn’t that bad either

U past the Julio Rodriguez card at 14:36...Gotta say Topps BL for $50 a box and getting 3 numbered Autos out of 3 boxes thats Awesome 👌
With the elimination of opening day cards, I was wondering where they would insert the mascot cards so I'm glad to see them in here. Now I'm just waiting to see if Stomper actually has his name on the card.

I’m reading some of these comments and I swear there’s people that just see the negative out of everything. It’s not my cup of tea, but it’s not a bad product. Glad they’re trying to improve their products. Great video as always Jabs.
Aside from the negatives, this set is amazing. I love the design, the price is perfect, the chase is fun. I'll def be grabbing about 5-10 blasters or at least 5 hobbies of this product. Overall grade A-
I really like these. I'm glad they aren't as "flimsy" as past years have been. They always seemed like they were always on a cheap cardboard knockoff. Thanks for the great content as always Jabs! 🙏

$50 for these with chase cards? Well done Topps. I wish I had had these as a kid. I hated opening day because you couldn't pull anything crazy out of them. I always bought flagship at $2 per pack. I remember being horrified when the prices went up to $2.25 and $2.50 per pack in the early 2010s. Good times.
Big League strikes just the right balance of being cheap, yet still offering enough for kids to chase to keep them interested while highlighting the best players with cool and colorful inserts (those 8-bit ones are awesome!). I am impressed. Hopefully breakers keep their crummy hands off enough so that kids can still afford the packs.
Only downside to the set is the tier system, as is being pointed out. I feel like Topps still could have done that without making the set absolutely impossible to finish without Daddy's help.

I bought a hobby box and pulled a Gabriel Moreno auto. Bought 2 blasters and pulled a legendary Ken Griffey Jr gold foil. I really like this product and the price.

Im really diggin the Roll Call inserts. As a big fan of street art and graffiti style lettering I think I'm gonna have to pick up a set.

The pack with the 2 big leaguer cards was supposed to be a hit pack but the card filler stole the card and put an a extra code card. This happens in Pokemon and magic the gathering all the time. You can report the pack with the hobby box info and they can find the theif

@@chrisclare2689 just bought 2 off of TOPPS website before they sell out. To me, at 50 bucks is much more value than a mega box.

Really love the look of the autograph cards, with these sets being more for kids, are the auto cards valued less?
Looks like a fun rip for the price, but the curvatures on the base design .. not a fan of things that can't be centered easily

I would say that new logo definitely makes it clear that these are for kids
I'm glad they made this set for kids. I don't like that they made the big hits so hard to hit. This is really supposed to be a kid's hobby. Topps and Fanatic needs to understand that when they took all the good hits out of retail they made product about money. They are chasing away the kids. What kid has the money to send for a Jumbo box so they can actually get a good cards of their favorite players?

My complaint is that the companies now makes cards " for kids." I know I'm getting old, but they were always for kids. This is no longer a child's hobbie and it's quite sad.

If Jabs family isn't one of the influencers on a card then I don't want one 😁😁 I do watch the sports card invester and it would be cool to get my boys on a baseball card 2 of my son's play 1 just started and the other is in his 3rd year playing 12u and is a monster he hit his 3rd homerun last night of the season and has only played 6 games the only other kids on his team has 1 homerun

My observations: I wish the cards were as interesting as the wrappers are. I thought the wrappers had a cool design.
Big Positive: 3 for 3 on autos. One per box.
Big Negative: The Bieber looked nice but I’m pretty sure I saw dinged corners on the other two. Also, they are stickergraphs, but at that price point it’s more tolerable than the expensive issues.
I’d give it a solid B.

Not sure what Kid can afford these cards
Between the higher price point and all the short prints, I'm sitting this one out. And worse yet, they have those cards of high roller influencers who wound't touch this type of product. I did enjoy Big League from 2018-21 when they were $2 per pack for 10 cards.
