Being a Tibetan, I apologize to Dr Tsering Tashi la for his bad experience with Mentsekhang. I really appreciate his noble intentions and I hope VoT will convey his grievances to TMAI. I hope Dr. la can have a project-soon with MTAI and share his precious knowledge to Tibetan and world at large. Tashi Delek and Bhogyal lo!

@@tenzinchoeying1149 Tashi Delek! Can you be more specific when you say modern way? Sorry my English is not good and I am little confused here. Although it’s not a surprise for me when he was stop by a lower level staff and never allow him to meet with the management. It’s a common practice in our community to look down on people coming from small town or villages and even how you’re dressed. You will be respected if you’re well dressed, rich, powerful… HHDL once said to settlement officers that you all are send to serve the people not rule them. Sorry again it’s becoming too long

I personally met so many spiti people who were humiliated by Tibetan when they came to Dharamshala and Tibetan community at large.. Tibetan especially Tibetan youth have to change their attitude and behaviour but unfortunately I see they are deteriorating by every passing day.
