Arjia Rinpoche, who once worked at the highest levels of the Chinese government in Tibet and Beijing, escaped from China two decades ago and now lives in the US. Recently, Arjia Rinpoche was a guest on a popular Chinese-language TH-cam channel hosted by Wang Zhian, a former investigative journalist for Chinese state TV now based in Japan. In the three-part interview, Arjia Rinpoche shared his dramatic life story of escaping from China and his personal contacts with some of the highest-ranking officials of the CCP.
The interview also sheds light on China's manipulation of the situation for their own political interests regarding the 11th Panchen Rinpoche. Arjia Rinpoche's eloquent and touching description in Chinese about Tibetan life under China attracted hundreds of thousands of Chinese viewers who left thousands of comments.
