We lived in Lethbridge in 1970/71. Its changed a bit ! In a small apartment first and then in a high rise , the only one in those days . Was trying to spot it on the video . The highway was just two lanes and not much "downtown" . The University was there and they were building a new sewage treatment plant in the river valley which was the reason I was there . In Australia now .
@@SonalAroraaaaaaaaaaaaaa No, there is too much dependence on cars. I live in Trinidad and Tobago and a lot of the "city" areas here have far less than 100k inhabitants, yet there are far more people walking about.
Like seriously, this looks isolated to me. Cone to think that I plan sending in Application to the U of Lethbridge for either a Master's or a PhD....(I already have a Masters though). Hope my application will be considered, and that I will find part-time jobs... I also hope My husband, who is a Lawyer would find something doing there.... Lethbridge was the last city that we lived in in Canada before coming to Australia . A nice small town not far from the Rockies . Cold and windy in winter , dry and windy in summer ! a long way from the ocean . Could not compare it with Forster . Canada is also suffering the new woke under its current idiot Prime Minister Trudeau but Alberta is probably one of the more conservative Provinces with still a bit of get up and go attitude . Economy is oil / gas and beef etc none of which goes down well with the city folk in the east who would not know where where the money comes from . A bit like our inner city pole not realising that it our iron ore and other minerals that is paying for our standard of living . That's my morning rant from Bayview in Sydney . ( We would have been back in the Rockies this summer if it was not for covid and resultant air travel problems , still love the country )
The only part of methbridge i like is 3rd ave because the renos they did a few years ago. Much more walkable, and i found it was easier to drive down since i wasnt on near as ridiculous of a stroad. Everything else is car infested suburbia and not walk friendly at all
You see that lots in Lethbridge. The downtown bus terminal has a lot of that, and they’re usually on some very hard drugs too. I couldnt tell you how often i had to tell people to get out of the way of the door so i could either get into the stairwell or out.
I graduated from the Practical Nursing program in 2018, been a Licensed Practical Nurse ever since. The program is challenging of course. However the job opportunities are endless once you’re done, you’ll always have a job. I’d focus on getting the electives done and out of the way in the summer/spring months if possible. The program is broken down into 5 semesters, first year was a slice, HOWEVER!! Semester 3,4, and 5 will shake you to the core. It’s more challenging to become an LPN than an RN. The 5th semester is preceptorship, I got 4C and I LOVED it. You basically work for free for 240 or 300 hours, it’s been awhile but I loved the college. Best instructors EVER! @aswindhanan4279

Moved here in 2001 and it has changed immensely. New buildings everywhere and growing way too fast. Very scenic and untouched still in the coulees.
Thank you, I miss Lethbridge !!
I will have to get used to driving on the opposite side of the road.My love to Canada.🙏♥️
It looks like a ghost town.People can rarely be seen on the street.
It's just a nornal sized town with a population just a bit over 100k so that's obvious.

The place feels like a ghost town.
Unless you’re in a car. No one walks, everyone drives. The traffic is nuts, and none of them CAN drive.
Now I gotta binge watch ya! As soon as I get rested!

how's social life and dating scene in lethbridge?
I'm not sure. I didn't really spend much time there to have an assessment. But it does seem to have a decent enough social vibe.
There’s a big student population and decent night life.

Early in the video you filmed Scenic Drive south and called it 3 ave s. WRONG.
To be fair, Scenic intersects with 3rd ave s 😂
