Thank you for explaining the reasoning behind your choices and the desired sound! I have seen many reviewers throw this board together with little or no rhyme or reason and then complain about the sound!
I just ordered the case and the pcb to build my very first custom keyboard. I wanted the tofu60 but pcbs are all out of stock so I ended up getting the 65. Trying my brother's tofu60 really got me sold 👌
couple years ago, tofu was definitely entry level. but now, with the number of kits that are available that include everything while being cheaper, tofu 2.0 isn't entry level. otherwise a great build!
Some kits have them labeled but to be honest i based my names off of what i saw on websites. Its not too hard to know which part goes where though, if you were to build a kit with full foam its pretty intuitive which foam goes where.
Keep an eye out for one of my future videos, i'm going to changing some things about the Tofu and i'll add in a sound test with different levels of foam
There's a bajillion true "budget" options for under 120$ I'll just list some of them: Finalkey V81 Plus Monsgeek M1W (Wireless) Cidoo V75 Cidoo V65 Finalkey V65 V2 Monsgeek M7W (Wireless) LMK 67 These are all Full Aluminum/Diy kits and even they're All Wireless I fail to comprehend how 200$ is even the BEST budget as an entry level.
@@emancipatedraws8549 Yeah i find needing to define keyboards has gotten to be so much more specific nowadays. In the past entry level meant budget, but i think we need to change our mindset with how big the hobby has blown up in recent years. My next video will actually go through this topic specifically so stay tuned for that!

Awesome keyboard would definitely buy in the future.
Look like a Frieza Keyboard theme
WhAT ARE ALL THE PARTS, PCB AND EVRYTHINGI NEED TO KNOW!!!!!!!! (Wth is that lil cabe at the top of the case?)
Would be curious in the sound with less foam

I agree with you there are plenty of better budget options out there. But I also didn't call the Tofu a budget option.
@@keybound My apologies as I interpreted "Typical entry level" as a Budget option.

Great quality content. Subsrcibed. Happy trails!
How does it sound foamless?
For fully thock what would you recommend on this keyboard??
Ah, entry level and budget... Aka my 10th keyboard that cost $300
lol its definetly entry level but unsure if i would quite consider this budget.
hol up you saying its 130ish dollars but its actually 188 did they raise the price? and WHY
Starts from 130$ only for case without PCB. Did u actually watch the vid lol?
we have the same mic xD
The best entry level should be $50 Sugar65 lol.
I don't think this is entry level, this is midrange. An actual entry level keyboard would be something like the Neo65 (about $100).
I dont think this keyboard is "entry level". It's expensive to stay in this level of price.
who in the right mind actually uses wireless unless you're trying to go for a minimal looking desk setup its useless
Only wish they had a pvd weight
I do wish they had more weight options
