It's 2023. I got this Z1 3 years ago for $900 Amazon Prime day..best purpchase ever. Great for everyday bike and dog walker bike. I recently swapped out new battery for $170 from Amazon. The battery does crap out after 3 years. It's the no frigs, no flex bike for short people.
2 years later and this is still a great review video. It helped me in choosing which one to get. How is your S1 still holding up? I currently own two Z1's and was looking at getting one with a more comfortable seat and for a little taller rider.
Yeah it’s possible. On the Super73 website they have street tires that appear to be the same that come standard on the Z1 but it says it’s also compatible with the S1 as well
It’s definitely not too masculine! The Z1 is actually mine and I love it! It feels very retro when riding it. They have plenty of other colored seats and frames you can look at. I definitely recommend getting one! I enjoy riding it and we take them out almost every single day!
Also the Z1 has a smaller frame therefore it looks more petite compared to the S1. Which is one of the reasons why I got that one. However, I enjoy riding both of them. They don’t feel masculine at all.
Wait you said the Z1 doesn’t have pedal assist yet I think I saw her pedaling or is pedal assist something completely different and you can still pedal regularly on the Z1?!
Arbok Gaming yeah you can totally still pedal on the Z1. Pedal assist is a mode when you pedal and the motor activates to help you at the same time. The Z1 doesn’t have this function. She likes to pedal and use the throttle at the same time sometimes for fun. Or to help her get up big hills sometimes when the bike struggles a bit. But true pedal assist it doesn’t have
Not sure exactly how fast but I’d say it can handle them at least at 10mph on high pedal assist for some of the steepest hills I’ve taken on and they were really steep

The simplicity of the Z1. I like the hidden battery! How theft proof is the battery? awkward to pedal while on throttle? Actually like the simplicity of one gear, no suspension, no fancy display. Possible to charge this directly with a solar panel? possible to charge with 12v power?
Yeah I did miss that. we did switch another day and the results are here somewhere in the comments. Weight does have a role in it, she beats me every time
@@BrianSepulveda no but watching her quad flex proves she put pressure on it. Lol. It was just an observation though. But even a coupke pounds of pressure makes a huge diff on take off. Especially when its on something as low powered as those electric bikes. I'm a mechanic that drag races.

I really like that the Z1 isn’t trying to look like a motorcycle. Just a stylish little bike. But I do like the range of the S1.
Yeah new ZX has the look of the Z and the range of the S1

I loved my S1 but now I am riding an R! S1's are still awesome, love their look!

I think if the z1 had a battery you could remove it would be perfect, battery is so small, just get 2 and keep one in the backpack.

I hit 25mph but I think the camera only showed 23/24 before I had to put the camera down to use the breaks
