      By contrast real madrid are all penetration and little foreplay. It always baffles me how madrid always embarrass themselves against barca even when bqrcq get embarrassed by much weaker teams. Barca could lose 8-2 to bayern, Real madrid could beat the same bayern and lose to the same barcalona side by a large margin. I just don't understand it

    • @MachineGunX2
      @MachineGunX2 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@7yep4336dfgvvh well I'm guessing it's because it's an el clasico, both teams try to look as good as possible and that can either go very well or horribly wrong. It can go wrong because they prepare the match with completely wrong tactics and they become too overconfident. Kind of like bayern vs villareal, bayern are obviously the better team but they prepared the match completely wrong and they lost. Real are better than barca but when barca saw how flawed real's strategy was they became very determined and crushed madrid.

    I'm a Barca fan, but sometimes it's very frustrating to watch the style of playing. I compared it to "too much foreplay and no penetration". It might work with Spanish teams but with more dynamic German teams doesn't work. Barca also lucked the spirit Atleti showed against Man City.

      The problem is, we miss the creativity from players like Iniesta and Messi for this playstyle, but that is not the biggest problem, the biggest problem is our defence ... the defence of Pep Barca was absolutely outstanding.... I remember often Barca played 0:0 if teams parked the bus... but they just chilled until one magic moment happened, cause they could allways rely on their outstanding defense ... now we see an alba without any competation at all, dani alves at age of 38 being the best right back and 2 pretty unexperienced defenders at the center ... this is embarrasssing, pls stop being other forwards midfielders just to bench them ... while the defense has no stability necessary for ball posession based playstyles

      @@elponchoman9900 I agree, having players like Messi & Iniesta in your team automatically adds another unpredictable dimension to your attack and while there's no doubt that everyone's performing brilliantly this season (overall not this game), that creativity is some times needed specially in games like the one yesterday. On the defense you're spot on, Alba just couldn't cope with the attacker on his flank & barring Araujo, there's not a single solid defender in our squad who's 100% reliable (Pique of course but he is very slow)

    Of course Xavi did wonders for this team unfortunately we lost the game because of defensive errors. I must say i saw it coming when they decided to drop the most experienced defender Alves.Anyone who was desperate to win the only trophy of their season wouldn't have taken 3 strikers and dropped a defender. Unless Barcelona prioritize defenders we will still suffer in Ucl next season. Why Lewa, Haaland when you have over 10yr defensive nightmare?

I also think that Kamada doesn't get enough recognition for how good he is and has been, as well as some other standout players in the Frankfurt side. I also personally expect them to go to the finals and maybe even win it... depends who they'll face in the end... I can see it coming from a mile away : English team will see them as the team from the "farmer's league" and will play 2 terrible games against them and Frankfurt could well win both games. But we'll see how they go on from now....
