Trick Daddy sat down with DJ Vlad to discuss a variety of different topics, including his infamous comments telling black women to “tighten up.” The rapper also spoke on how rappers are no longer looking the part, with many of them wearing fingernail polish while rocking lipstick and dyeing their hair different colors.
Trick Daddy explained his upbringing, and how that said upbringing separates him from the newer generations artists, no matter what part of the world they come from. From there, he opened up about putting out his first album following the death of 2 Pac, and how buying the URL Thug.com helped him get ahead of the curve regarding social media.

Trick’s first album was mixed and arranged IMPECCABLY. And his lyrics/flow style brought the perfect vocal counterparts to make that album. People who listened to nothing but jungle and drum n bass were absolutely beating that album for 3 or 4 years. An essential.
