My buddy just bought a brand new canam xmr, took it out for the "break in" cycle and sunk it in a 12 foot retention pond. After spending about $250 worth on oil and filters he finally got it running right again. Love watching your videos man! Keep them coming!!!!
Love ya work mate, as awesome with the video camera as you are on your bike. Love it whenever I'm on my phone and my 2 year old boy comes over and says 'Otta Cruza plez Daddy'. Gold! Cheers from Australia.
The only cons are a longer wheelbase(could be a pro as they are more stable and climb out of holes easier) and the air suspension, some people have had problems after a season or two being in mud and water all the time. Pros are awesome power and performance, awesome ride and handling, ready for the nasty stuff right off the showroom floor, absolute top of the line machine, many parts have been beefed up for the 2013 1000Xmr's, diffs and axles to name a couple
This is why I'm saving up for a ATV. Nothing as nice as these, maybe a Honda 300 or something like that, but still should be a ton of fun. Happy mudding guys. :)
Also the only thing I would suggest right away if you are going to go deep is to get some snorkel risers and bring the snorkels up through the pod so you can see them
Most all of us run stock axles with no lift, almost no one breaks them, I had one outer cv let go in 5 years of mudding. If you have any sort of lift on your machine it's best to run aftermarket axles that are designed to run at more of an angle then the stock ones
Riding is a passion of mine! just want to say thanks for the videos man the lady and i watch them all the time, there awesome! also appreciate the "to each his own attitude" hopefully someday i will be able to come ride with you guys!
Not 100% sure who'll be the first, I know for sure there will be a couple modded ones ripping muskeg this Spring though. Glad you like it, they look so sick it's nuts.
I'm not sure of the exact brand those are but I bought a couple pairs of neoprene ones that were on sale at Canadian Tire last year and they are great, they were 50% off, only $75
Most of us run 29.5" Outlaws, they would be a tough tire to turn properly on a 500 though, maybe look at some 28" Zillas, you will need spring spacers or stiffer springs for clearence
Trust me if there was another brand that took the abuse better then Canam we would be riding it...all of us ride Can-am for a reason, nothing else has the power or holds up better then a Can-am in what we put them through
I do this a lot and honestly it's not too bad on the motor the thing I struggle with the most is I break a lot of boots and have to replace cv joints. Plus a lot of oil changes and cleaning the air box and filters if you drown it out
I have not had a single motor issue in over 7 years of riding like this, I change my oil regularly and take very good care of my bikes after the rides, makes a big difference in how the bike lasts
8:20 What happens if you loose balance and get water in your intake pipes? Is there some safety mechanism that you can continue to ride or do you have to take the motor apart/spark plug out?
I have a question, I want to do ATV someday, that goes crazy up in the mountain, drive through the river. As a "someday" first timer, which one should I get that will match my fun? Please let me know ^.^ thank you!
Hey I have the same bike but I put tires on it and I do more than those can ams do bring it to a shop and ask them to put new mud tires on it that's what I did
This really is awesome. What would you recommend to somebody for there first atv? I'm really thinking about buy one once spring rolls in. Ive gone riding and stuff before so I'm not unfamiliar with how to ride.
hey osta who's the first one outta ur rideing group to buy a maverick ? i just got my maverick X the other day this thing takes sxs to a whole nother level !! LOVE the vids dude keep'em comin !!!!!
your ATV's sound awesome and seem to have unlimited power. I know some of them have turbos etc but are they all upgraded. your videos make me want to buy a can am but not a used one LOL.
Stock, Can-am makes some beefy axles, as long as you stay under 2"s of lift the stock axles are great, as soon as you put a lift on you should run after market axles as they are designed to handle the extra angle a lift puts on them, the stock axles do not like more angle
What's that thing on your far left snorkel at 3:40? GPS? If so i found that a cradle fot it zip tied to the handle bars works great. I got a etrex20 all rigged up.
osta, the bolt holes in my rear diff on my gade where the bolts thats mount the diff to the frame all cracked the case and my rear diff is shot!!any idea why it could have happened?i didnt know it was like that and did a water wheelie and the rear driveshaft pulled out of the diff that when i noticed it
Do you know what kind of waders that guy had on at 1:38? I'm needing some good neoprene ones and like the knee protection his had. Or do you have any recommendations?
Starting at 4:43 did anyone else notice all the Honda's and Yamaha's that made it through all the mud and the riders were helping get all the Can-ams un-stuck? lol just sayin...
+BigCountryFarmer snorkles generally run for your intake, transmission intake, and vacuum lines, things running for your differentials front and rear, and gas overflow tube. -at least with the custom snorkles me and buddies have installed thats what it pertains of.

no doubt about it these bikes are awesome looks like the best fun and the bikes look and sound awesome
This is by far the best atv video on here, I don't care what anyone else thinks
Radiator is relocated up top on the front rack and the pipes are snorkels for the clutch and engine so you can go in deep without sucking in water
this totally looks like fun!!! I wanna play too!
I have ridden these trails alot...but there are surprises sometimes
I ran one all last year, held up great. No blown belts, definitely recommend them
Love ya work mate, as awesome with the video camera as you are on your bike. Love it whenever I'm on my phone and my 2 year old boy comes over and says 'Otta Cruza plez Daddy'. Gold! Cheers from Australia.
That's awesome bud, it's viewers like you and your son that keep me super excited about making vids! Stay tuned lots more to come!
My next purchase is going to be a snorkel kit after watching these videos lol. Thanks for posting man, great videos.

veery nice and lots of fun!!! like how your friends come to help others!!!!
This is why I'm saving up for a ATV. Nothing as nice as these, maybe a Honda 300 or something like that, but still should be a ton of fun.
Happy mudding guys. :)
Hpi Guy's Garage My '03 Honda Foreman 500 is great for mudbogging. Heck even my Rancher 400 is good for mudbogging.
Also the only thing I would suggest right away if you are going to go deep is to get some snorkel risers and bring the snorkels up through the pod so you can see them

THIS looks awesome! Who needs NASCAR when there's this?
Riding is a passion of mine! just want to say thanks for the videos man the lady and i watch them all the time, there awesome! also appreciate the "to each his own attitude" hopefully someday i will be able to come ride with you guys!
This makes me excited for when I get my own bike, can not fucking wait.
imo best compilation of atv mud riding video!
Wow very hot video! Thanks for sharing guys!
Not 100% sure who'll be the first, I know for sure there will be a couple modded ones ripping muskeg this Spring though. Glad you like it, they look so sick it's nuts.
Sounds like a solid setup, what tires are you going to run? Just need some snorkels and maybe a rad relocate
Love the vids man and the bikes!! I ride Can Am but nothing like this!! These Can Am's are bad ass to the core!! Keep the vids comin
Y'all are nuts!!! Looks like a great time!!
Great video. Thumbs up.
You guys are all nuts! And I love it!!!
Best channel period! Pure inspiration
+free roaming vapour Thank you dude!!
You guys look like you have so much fun. There's no scene like this in Australia. Not where I am anyway(Geelong). Stay safe and ride hard.
Yes, most of us run Can-ams, imo the most fun you can have on an ATV
I love to ride. Live in Maine. Hard to find great muddy spots to get into!! Love the Vids...keep them coming!!!!
You need snorkels for sure to go in deep water, and to make sure all your vent lines are moved up
after a long night at work awsome to jump on youtube and watch your videos...unreal what you guys are doing.
Wow, that place looks like a blast!
the way you ride the can ams is like a sled on water, balls to the wall and hope for the best ;)
I'm not sure of the exact brand those are but I bought a couple pairs of neoprene ones that were on sale at Canadian Tire last year and they are great, they were 50% off, only $75
Depends on what tires they are running, but yes Honda are usually lighter causing them th float more
Radiator Relocation Kits, Snorkels, Lift Kits, Good Mud Tires, Winches... This is how mudding is done.
A lot of these are modded out 82hp 1000cc Can-ams, so they would go through the nasty stuff a bit better then a Wolverine
Just awesome ,great bikes the one bike with green moss all over thr
Most of us run 29.5" Outlaws, they would be a tough tire to turn properly on a 500 though, maybe look at some 28" Zillas, you will need spring spacers or stiffer springs for clearence
No problem bud, glad you guys like them. This is going to be an epic spring
sinking quads looks like a blast !
Always a great vid with awesome quality. Can't wait for spring!
its cool how your ATV's still work!
Trust me if there was another brand that took the abuse better then Canam we would be riding it...all of us ride Can-am for a reason, nothing else has the power or holds up better then a Can-am in what we put them through
How many time do you guys re build the top end on these gnarly quads? Looks like it would be hard on them going wide open most of the time.
There is room for water in the air box so a little isn't a problem you just have to remove the drain plug once you get out of the water.
Great vids guys keep it up.
You are the best mud rider on youtube keep uploadin i love you videos
Thanks bud, lots of great riders out there, but it's viewers like you that keep me pumpin out the vids. thank-you
ostacruiser Badass quad you have there sir. :P
on a quad, do you think that running the outlaw skinnies would be better, or wide in back and skinnie in front, or wide in front and back?
I think they were Two Brothers Exhaust Duals, sounded mint in person
Man I am with ya....Spring can't come early enough
I have a question, I want to do ATV someday, that goes crazy up in the mountain, drive through the river. As a "someday" first timer, which one should I get that will match my fun?
Please let me know ^.^ thank you!
Thank you friend, Hello from Canada
Nice Vid :), I think your content is great keep it up!
Love your Channel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Probs from Germany :D
Just Reis Moin was geht
Them Can-Ams are bad ass!
That looks fun I wish my 250 Suzuki quad sport could do this!
Hey I have the same bike but I put tires on it and I do more than those can ams do bring it to a shop and ask them to put new mud tires on it that's what I did
I have the same bike to and was thinking the same thing
This really is awesome. What would you recommend to somebody for there first atv? I'm really thinking about buy one once spring rolls in. Ive gone riding and stuff before so I'm not unfamiliar with how to ride.
This is SICKKK! Sweet video!!
Great video guys!!! You guys are the bomb.. And wtf kinda question
Thanks for checkin out the vids, glad you like them
hey osta who's the first one outta ur rideing group to buy a maverick ? i just got my maverick X the other day this thing takes sxs to a whole nother level !! LOVE the vids dude keep'em comin !!!!!
These guys definitely have the most fun
Can-am Renegade? God damn I never knew they were such a nasty quad!!!
looks like fun I planning to get one but which one to start first?
your ATV's sound awesome and seem to have unlimited power. I know some of them have turbos etc but are they all upgraded. your videos make me want to buy a can am but not a used one LOL.
I love your videos!
Thanks bud, glad you like 'em
Ya for sure, i love that sound.
Stock, Can-am makes some beefy axles, as long as you stay under 2"s of lift the stock axles are great, as soon as you put a lift on you should run after market axles as they are designed to handle the extra angle a lift puts on them, the stock axles do not like more angle
Those atvs sound like v8s cooool
Awesome videos on your channel!!! I see that you are in Canada! Saskatchewan?
I am in Quebec. I wish we had nice mud holes like that in my area!
would love to go on one of your rides looks like a blast!!!
i got new respect for what an atv can do, but i'm never buying a used atv from you guys lol!!, nice vid ya mad buggers hehe, cheers, dave
I have ran both and chose to run QSC now, it's a smoother quieter clutch with equal performance
Can-am!!!! lol, should be able to get some info out this week
Great watching as always!
What quad did you like better? The Catvos renegade, or the Outlander?
+Tim Ososkalo I loved them both, if I had to choose only one I would be on an Outlander. But the Renegade was bad ass also
Very nice!
I want one of these quads they a submarine tractor wit handle bars AWESOME!!!.
Holy shit, my Honda would never let me do that! Awesome mudding!
I want to be part of this one day, and when the ATV is submerged, how does it not crank off?
as long as there is air going in, there is air going out. which keeps the water and (or) mud out
No prob bud, glad to help. I have a few WHOOOHOOO's in there...lol
Why is that? I would consider one if they put out a 1000 Short Chassis Xmr
these vids are awsome!...i see the snorkel kits but is there any danger of the exhaust getting flooded out?
What's that thing on your far left snorkel at 3:40? GPS? If so i found that a cradle fot it zip tied to the handle bars works great. I got a etrex20 all rigged up.
osta, the bolt holes in my rear diff on my gade where the bolts thats mount the diff to the frame all cracked the case and my rear diff is shot!!any idea why it could have happened?i didnt know it was like that and did a water wheelie and the rear driveshaft pulled out of the diff that when i noticed it
We have always had better luck with wides on the rear and skinnies in the front, all skinnies are ok if you don't have a bike with enough power
Not too sure bud, I would check into a set of 27" Outlaws
Do you know what kind of waders that guy had on at 1:38? I'm needing some good neoprene ones and like the knee protection his had. Or do you have any recommendations?
Love it!!! Pure muskeg!! We're headin out this weekend
Awesome stuff!!
Starting at 4:43 did anyone else notice all the Honda's and Yamaha's that made it through all the mud and the riders were helping get all the Can-ams un-stuck? lol just sayin...
Lol. Those were all the guys sittin on the sidelines watching the show
ostacruiser what state did you film this? killa fun man
hahahaha good point
Haha because they didn't go through the holes lol
hey osta, what do you think of big front bush guards? ive got a rather large one in my mind on my bike and im debating if i should take it off.
There is definitely no better channel out there for this stuff i love ur videoss man
THIS is life!! 👏👏 awesome video
Had a bad day today, but this really cheered me up! thanks osta, great vid!
When u put a snorkel on a quad, does that mean the motor is mounted up on top or just an exhaust pipe.
Only the snorkel runs through the bike.
+BigCountryFarmer snorkles generally run for your intake, transmission intake, and vacuum lines, things running for your differentials front and rear, and gas overflow tube.
-at least with the custom snorkles me and buddies have installed thats what it pertains of.
Alright I wondered how it worked thanks for that. Do you know how you prevent water from getting in the oil or gas?
What do you do with your quad when your done riding? Is there any maintinance?
Around 11:20, that's the best kind of mud right there
6:35 when Mother Nature strikes back haha, great vid!!
We're not fishing we're trail riding...lol
