This shop provides professional service with reasonable price. They never over charge and honest in their advice. Very good skill in balancing and alignment. Very skillful in repairing hole in tyre too.
If i'm not wrong since 92, 93 they have been there, beginning at the thin narrow corner shop till 3, 4 shops now. They were 3,4 youngsters all were families member including ah meng last time, now everyone turns old already.

This tyre shop is the first Michelin shop in Malaysia after Michelin Malaysia set up. If you guys change tyre there please top up a bit to use their special road force balancing, this is more accurate and no harm to our vehicle compare to on wheel balancing. On wheel balancing is technician sitting on roller machine to spin the tyre while tyre is installed in our car. This method may bring harm to the transmission.
@@lightweight8789 New car with new wheel no need to do on wheel balancing. But after some years the wheel will have some dents and normal balancing machine unable to solve the vibration in high speed especially for high inch and thinner tyre.

Bobby, the inner shoulder of your front tyre appears to have significantly more wear than the rest of the tread. Have you checked whether the negative camber is excessive or toe out is too much? I would expect a negative camber of minus 3 degrees or more to cause inner shoulder wear like that, but your front wheel position definitely does not appear like it has significant negative camber, so it’s worth checking your static and dynamic toe.

My first car, a 1997 Audi A4 B5 1.8 turbo that I bought in 2003 for rm50k ... Salary rm1,700 monthly instalment rm850 no money to buy tyre no money for just about anything hahahaha

End up buying used RM20 tyres that exploded when balded at LDP in 2000. Luckily was the rear tyre and I managed to steer to safety. 😅
Had 2 experience using xm2 where the rubber became brittle and cracking in 4 yrs...doesnt look safe. Wonder if anyone else having similar experience...never had problem using conti tyres
Yes it happens to XM2 if you park outdoors alot. Though I am not sure if that problem has been rectified with the XM2+. I have moved on to continental CC6. No more premature cracking.
RM 20 for a repair? Cheap. Got charged RM 40 in Ipoh Goodyear Expressway Tires for a inside out mushroom type tire repair to a screw puncture. Your grandfather is a wise man. True words which is sorely needed in the current selfish world
that being said, there lots of "con" workshop. especially if its a lady driver, they will ask change this, change that & some even use fake parts or used ones

Some mechanic told me no need wheel balancing on new model car. Not sure true or not.

I dont face that problem on XM2, my 1st set last me 96K, current set already 75k. i did balancing and rotate the tyre every 10k to 15K.
