Hi, thanks for your videos, really good, especially for foreigners like I am :) My main question is, why there are so many house listings on Zillow, which is being listed for several months and owners don’t do anything with them? As I understand you have property tax, so if you do not rent your property, you lose significantly. For example 1 bedroom apartment is listed for $3.5k and nobody wants it for 4 months, owner has lost $14k of potential income. Why it’s like that? Why they don’t want to reduce price and rent it out quickly?
This is really interesting. I am still trying to figure out how to get into a rental and how the upcoming General Election will impact rentals in California. Its unfortunate that some property management companies fail to recognize that price gouging is hurting everyone while they line their pockets. Hopefully, there will be a leveling in San Francisco Bay Area so, people can get shelter and prosper.
