    Dear Ciaz Owner, Three things.
I am all for upgrading audio but with a cautionary note..
    1. Instead of replacing the SONY ES 162 ES front component, you could have added the 3 inch AV 3.0 alone at front making it a 3 way front stage without replacing it. Sony ES is more naturally sounding and is a HI RES Car Speaker.
    2. You are wasting APF 8.14 as you are not utilising 14 channels of DSP but only 9 channels, Here you cud have gone for Audison AP4.9 Bit (4 channel Ampl with 9 channel DSP)
    3. Hence you could have utilised your existing Primus 9004 which is a very decent 90 watts 4 ohm amplifier too instead of completely eliminating it.
By taking into consideration the above points,
    a. your Sound quality wud have improved much,
    b. Your additional cost wud have been much lower.
    c. Most importantly You wud not have wasted your existing set up of ES component and 4 channel amp.

Thank you for your comment sir🙏
First of all, SONY ES series speakers are really very good. They sound super amazing. But i personally have installed 3 way voce setup in my car and the customer was very happy with that sound. One more big thing is that Sony ES is a 90 watts RMS speaker whereas Voce is 125 RMS speakers.
You will find a very huge difference in the midbass as well as the crispness in sound. And yes we could have also installed 8.9 bit but you very well know the difference. And the 5 channels which are empty are due to a reason which I would like to tell you.
Customer was planning to install a component in the rear so the 2 channels will be supplied to that. And he is also planning to install a Dual Subwoofer so 1 channel will be given over there.
One more thing, 4.9 bit and 8.9 bit are not Hi-Res whereas 8.14 is and one more amazing thing, it has inbuilt RTA. The customer will also install a DRC super soon.
Great to see that you have a good knowledge in audio.
If you are from Kolkata, I would request you to once visit my store and hear the setup that is installed in my car.
Then you will see the difference.
      Thank you so much sir🙏

Sir, Thanks for the reply. Some of my understanding here. You can correct it or update accordingly if required.
      >Hi-Res means your entire set up has to be Hi-Res , right from source of music -- transmitting to Head Unit (Source Player)-Speakers-
Amplifier and DSP. It can be either Wireless or Wired. Here if one component is not Hi-Res, then it does not serve the purpose.
Via Wireless - it is difficult to achieve considering current availability of CODEC Options.
      a. Here though Apple Music has Hi-Res song files - it cannot transmit Hi-Res via Bluetooth in Carplay as the
Audio CODEC deployed in IPHONE is AAC only (320kpbs) - you can check in settings of Bluetooth section in IPhone
      b. Premium Android Phones have LDAC built in with it and can Transmit Hi-Res Music to Head Unit, SONY ES receiver has
LDAC, your phone also needs to have LDAC CODEC available via Phone or DAP.
      c. The tweeters of Audison VOCE Speakers can play only till 22 khz, while Sony ES Tweeters can play till 40Khz - one
      important aspect of Hi-Res Audio.
Via Wired: --> you have to engage Digital inputs in DSP (Optical or Coaxial) and play Hi-Res directly from SONY ES Head Unit, also you should ensure Tweeters can play till 40 Khz
      >To best utilize the max Channels in DSP:
      a. Sony ES Co-axials could have been removed at rear and existing Sony ES component could have been set up at Rear to make it
      fully active
      b. Two 8 inch premium brand subwoofer (Punch P2/P3 or JL or DD) fibre moulded occupying minimal space in the CIAZ
Boot as it has a extraordinary Boot Space.
This would have again used only 12 Channels.
Hope Customer is aware of these aspects too 🤔🤔🤔.
