  • Cut the fenders of your Jeep to give it a custom look and to allow room for larger tires. You do maintain your front fender liners. This DIY is for the front and rear fenders from start to finish and shows the Jeep articulating at the end with 35's and no rub.

All the howling, I dont get it. They did a terrific job. The flex at the end was extremely useful, and is almost never done for viewers. He paid special attention to the pinch weld area which is always the weak point for bigger tires. He even showed you the compressed bump stop! The finishing touch was the front tucked and him showing specifically where a minor trim could be done. This is an amazing job for a stock JKUR. LCOG, Good clean look. I think they kicked ass. Helped me alot. Thanks guys!

Thanks a million. Keeping the liners in was a big deal to me, and thanks to your simple instructions, it made me realize how easy this mod is. My Jeep looks great thanks to you.

I personally would not have used normal spray paint. I would use bed liner for the wheel wells. It would do alot better than spray paint and would also allow for protection as well. But you did a great job.

This was a GREAT video. Did mine this weekend and after having watched this video about 4 or 5 times, I didn't even have to reference it during the process. It's actually really easy! To Steve R. below, this is a perfect option for those trying to save a couple bucks and get a quick custom look. It really is easy and cheap! What's it matter if you cut up your fenders or replace them? Thanks a ton for putting this video up! Very happy with mine for $36 instead of $380. Putting my 35's on tomorrow along with 3-1/2" Lift in another 2 weeks!

Great informative video. This definitely was a much better visual aid over the pictures on the jk forum. Can't wait to do this on the weekend.

great video.. very cool of you to take the time to share this. Motivated me - Im about half done with from fenders. Noticed my inner guard does not come as low as yours so drilling that new hole into the body to secure it from flapping is going to get tricky.. I'm not super handy but your vid made it seem so very easy i decided to give it a try. Worst case - i screw it up and have to buy aftermarket fender flares.

Completed this Mod on my 2013 JK over the weekend. Looks awesome! And I agree using spray-on truck bed liner instead of spray paint was the way to go. By the way the door trim I bought had a bead of adhesive in the groove.

Nice write up I stepped up to 37" thinking they would work from 35 now my fenders are in the way wife isn't too happy about me wanting to blow hundreds more on fenders plus I found many people selling stock fenders in CL for $150 they changed out their fenders with aftermarket. Even if you screw up you can get some in CL.
