I called RCA asking about the temperature dial to see if 1 is the warmer temperature? I have to wait for the technician to call back in a few days. I googled it and the first few sites said 7 is the coldest) Yet further down it said 7 was the warmest and 1 was the coldest. Mine goes to 7. Mine is a 3.2 cu. Yours looks like the same size as mine , yet the dial only goes to 5 on yours? I actually want mine to be at the warmest as I’m using it to keep my spices in there and flours, grains, etc as I kept getting moths in there. So what is the warmest, 1 or 7?

Cn you leave the dial on zero, & have the fridge still work.
