I've been listening to your video for 12 minutes and I still don't know if the piano you play on is a Roland FP-30 or FP-30X 🥱.I guess you'll say it at some point.
Hi Paul, thanks for your comment. My keyboard is an FP-30, but everything I say applies to both. From what I've read, the only real difference between them is that the 30x is a tad-bit heavier (not noticeable), but the keybed and speaker are identical. A year or so ago I played a 30x briefly at a Guitar Center, and couldn't tell the difference; so that's why this video is labeled as both--I'm considering the FP-30 as interchangeable with the FP-30x.
@@TheMadcave-ef4fv I made this remark because the title of your video mainly indicates the name of these 2 versions of the FP-30 piano, which seems to announce a comparison between these 2 models. But isn’t there still a technical improvement brought by the 30X ? The polyphony of the 30X is much greater: 256 notes rather than 128, so double. Now, it is said that, the higher the polyphony, the greater the similarity with the acoustic piano. What do you think ?
