I won’t shop at Target ever again, no matter what their prices are.
I still shop there sometimes but our spending there is way down. No more Starbucks. No more clothes. No more groceries. White large Family with traditional values they made clear they prefer households of single gender fluid cat ladies.
I quit shopping there when they 0:42 pushed trans and pride attire on children… if you have a soul, you should not step foot in any Target
@@Fuzzythirtyone "your type" of people would do better shopping at Dollar General and Walmart, u know what I mean.
I will NEVER and have NOT shopped at Target!!! I Boycott them!!!
Never Target. Did I say never? Never ever!
I boycotted target years ago!
Home Depot echoes Walmart & Target - the consumer is tapped out. Under Armor sportswear announces layoffs in an effort to return to historical profitability. Dodge/Ram/Jeep announces UAW Worker layoffs as the company fights to avoid bankruptcy.
I don't shop at Target because it is overpriced.
The wages have not kept up with inflation since the 1970's that I know of. The people have gotten poorer and poorer.
Reaganomics kept the wages flat, boycott the insanely high prices!!!
What they always fail to add is that taxes have gone up even more than wages.
Smart people commenting here
I quit shopping there when the lgbt propaganda was vomited all over the place. Not because I’m completely repulsed by the culture but because of the blatant hypocrisy of how victimized they are while simultaneously having every corporation bow down to them every June.
People like u would be better off shopping at Dollar General and Walmart along with home schooling and bible thumping fundy church.
I got cash; but I am boycotting Target! 🛑
Same here.
I buy gold
Never shop target don't need them!!!
I prefer them over supermarkets.
I don't support Targay... bible says it is an abomination.
@@georgiabobcat8695 you religious people are funny sometimes 😂😂😂😂
@@natedownsI'm not religious but Target is woke af
@@georgiabobcat8695 "your type" of people may do better shopping at Dollar General and Walmart, just saying.
I was already cutting back before I just found out that my entire department is being dissolved. Hundreds of us. No one saw it coming.
Which company ?
I recently lost my job due to plant closure
I quit shopping at Target several years ago and will never return. Boycott Target.
What I can tell you is people have to eat one way or another. I've noticed a lot more people buying food at supermarkets and Walmart. Some of those people appear to look like they only used to eat out most of the time but now buying groceries instead. Eating out has become a lot more expensive in the last couple years and it appears the economy is slowing down. Foot traffic at many quick service and fast casual restaurants have come down in 2024.
they laid off my entire group of 50 employees my last day is Aug 2. It sucks because I'm stuck now because I bought a home 3 years ago. I was in my 9th year of empoyment with the company.
Target is Woke
Pretty simple Steve I raise chickens now and grow my own food and my first job the writing was on the wall about them going under so I got a better job.
I moved to Mexico 20 years ago because I couldn't afford to retire in the US. Doing ok, though living modestly.
Are you Hispanic or white ? Wondering how you navigate around the cartels
@@otisshaw1 I got sloppy. I'm actually in Guatemala. I'm white. Both countries have known cartel areas. Just stay out of them. Stay away from the wholesale drug trade and politics.
Red lobster parking lots are empty.
Saturday night Walmart parking lot was "skeletal "
Walmart shopping carts don’t have near as much items in the cart !!!
Red lobster filed bankruptcy. I believe.
No doubt since many have closed. They filed Chapter 11 Sunday. More empty parking spaces to come.
@@juneabe2076Nope June babe red lobster went out of buisness an closed down 28 stores in 28 states, now kiss me babe💋
I went to Target to pick up a Black Swan, but couldn't find any. What does this mean?
Someone I know who used to be the queen of shopping has since started saying that she will look for cheaper alternatives for the things she wants or not buy them at all. This was a person, who at one point, was tens of thousands in credit card debt. She brought the debt down, paid it off, and will not be spending anymore. Proud of her. That is the most troubling sign I've ever heard for the U.S. economy. lol
Walmart has terrible prices for meat
And terrible meat
Wagyu !!!
Why still fund a animal ag? It's a heinous industry
@@animalsarebeautifulpeople3094 I only eat animal products
Steve, Im broke... Not going to Target, or many other stores.. trying to save and prepare for whats to come, and failing at that.
That what happen when consumer companies over-play their hand shrinking size on boxes and uppricing the large box doing silly musical and chair. Now, the consumer get tired and cook their own meal at home. Opps! That for being greedy! Walmart is found to be greedy too.
Sounds like how deflation starts.
We eat out a lot less and we eat what ever is a bargain. We comparison shop and stock up if we find a bargain. We have a huge holding in short term treasuries cuz interest is greater than official CPI. Also drink watered down coffee cuz price spiked so high it was taken out of last months CPI.
Just as you predicted! I didn't think we would see that kind of deflation this soon.
When the GD-ChinkaVirus occurred, I decided the economy shall only get More Bad. That's the time I sold everything I owned. I moved out of the US. I'm now 9,000 miles West Southwest and LG, (Living Good). Living more safe, too.
Overpriced sheet store. I quit shopping there long ago. I hate it.
Cutting back on everything
Thanks again, Steve!
Crash 2 years late
Didn't Allen Greenspan say, "we will never run out of cash because we can always print more ".
Yes, the FED is a Ponzi scheme
Thank you Steve.
Thank you brother you're awesome.
Maybe Target should change it's color to green.
We all saw this coming years ago but it took a long time for companies to runout of money to pay their PR teams to say, "Everything's fine! Nothing to see here!"
What he didn't say was, how much it would take to live like a peasant.
Maybe the woke, satan thing had something to do with it
Spot on!
U would better off shopping at Dollar General and Walmart and attending fundy church🤣🤣🤣
Never will shop at target even if there products are free
Amazon and online orders changed the retail space.
30% off after a 200% increase
STEVE , AS ALWAYS GOOD ANALYSIS, APPRECIATE THE INFO. I USE BOTH YOUR PROGRAMS TO TRADE, 👍
Nobody cares what Target says does or anything else
I will never shop at Target again. I requested my wife to do the same. She used to love going there. Go woke go broke
According to the CPI, inflation is 3.6%. So if something cost $100, a year later it costs $103.60. That is a little. Don't you believe the CPI? I do. The gov't is honest.
When inflation cuts into the middle classes, holiday funds and no vacation time because of no money that’s when everybody begins to hold back on spending. Nobody wants to work without a vacation and nobody wants to do a so-called stay vacation. There is too much money being wasted on too many increased prices, and your paychecks can’t support the bare minimum after the bills too many things to pay for such as water, gas, electric sewer, cell phone, Internet, Disney package Hulu package, gas for your car and any equipment if you may have to run your lawnmower and Weedwhacker or generator if the power goes out( if you can own a generator).Prices are ridiculously high. No one cares for namebrand anymore. That’s all out the window until companies learn to stop being greedy so every time you get a raise, everybody wants to put their hand in your pocket to get a piece of what they think you just made because the news said you did. Job reports are incorrect. People are not returning back to work because they can’t find the quality job that will pay them to survive with just a basic standard of living.
I guess Target’s LGBTQ clothes are not selling well?
No money
Steven, my wife and I have a grasp of what is a good price for food and have found ourselves bulk buying the specials each week, which often means us repackaging. We also have a full garden which will offset our grocery bills. That said, I refuse to go to Target and haven't been in there in years.
SVM is right on Target 🎯 in his analysis.
I work for a retail jewellery (28 years), the last 60 days we have seen serious concerning slow down in sales..we have one normal day a five less than less than 50% of what we normally do.
“Most” of our retail customer are now broke, everyone is complaining. Only the very affluent are still shopping,,,, a little.
This is heading in a very bad direction….
We've been cutting back since 2020. Have a budget and stick with that budget. 6 months of savings is not going to be enough for what is coming next.
I thought there were SANCTIONS on Russian goods and commodities. Please, let me know if I am incorrect or wrong on that information.
i dumped cable, no more going out to eat, Paid credit off and my home paid it off. everyone run. if your parents are loaded move in. sell all your shit. the bad has started
ETF to buy fire and brimstone?
Local Honda dealer now charging 3.5% on a Visa or Master Card when paying for expensive repairs. I won't be fixing my car there anymore.
Don't worry, Target's CEO Brian Cornell's got this; a black belt in strategic planning.
Incomes are not keeping pace or staying ahead of inflation, and haven't for a long time,no wonder people have no money and are in deep debt ....
FK target... They have always been overpriced
always go for shops own brands same as branded ones in all cases mostly mange to my main shop to under £40
Im not seeing it in Florida. Home prices are dropping but fast food and retail stores are still busy. I think Florida may be somewhat insulated. It will be interesting to see what happens.
People are not spending they have it in the stock market silver and gold land ect.
@9:37 You tripped over the "in a big way" line? You had it perfect the first two times. Maybe an IBW every 3 minutes is getting to be too quick of a pace?
I won’t shop there anymore either. Go woke, go broke.
Market is going up this whole year. While Steve is saying get out now since October. I Am confused
Oh, you don't want to get into a price for Walmart. That's a bad idea.
They can print more😂😂😂
I was watching Maloney and he thought to term it 'indeflation'. Where you may have deflation, then inflation, then back down to deflation, like that. Where it may keep swinging back and fourth. Guessing, inflation will win out in the end. Any deflation the rate should fall in response and inflation will roar back in.
A slow downward spiral that will continue and increase as the lowest point is reached. Like the acceleration of gravity on an object in free fall, 32 feet per second squared. This economic air craft has run out of fuel, will it glide in for a soft landing or reach the stall speed and plumet like a stone. Some people have a unique place in society. Keep the info coming.
So… by keeping rates high, intl $ flows in, causing asset bubbles…. But low rates would also cause asset bubbles….
Right on, Steve. I dont know where the the Fed thinks money is flowing freely! Must be growing on trees! 😢
At the Treasury
It's flowing freely at insurance companies, for one.
Buy Can Food And Fire Wood
Welcome to the culb.
Store brand save.
From 1974-1999 California minimum wage could get you 1g of gold for 2-3hrs, today it's 4-5hrs. Gold isn't going to come down much, minimum wage in California needs to be $25+ per hour yet somehow Georgia and Montana get away with $5.15 per hour and iowa and Texas are still on federal minimum wage at $7.25...
The average wages dropped by a factor of 10 from 1930 to 1935. Today's avg wage is nearly 64K or $32 an hour, so atleast it can't drop by a factor of 10 but maybe a factor of 4 to 8 depending.
Winco first, then Costco and Walmart ;)
Boy, I ❤️ target I buy all their 80 - 90% off clearance items!!! Thx biden 👍🏼
Just be better. money is there
Boeing cut back from quality issues, still cut back and very slow. I would imagine this affects the entire value stream of supporting companies.
Im not buying cocaine and 20 mcdoubles im so healthy now lol
istg every time i see this guy the thumbnail has him cosplaying "This Is Fine"
They are fukin over price .
Silver Bells.. Silver Bells

There is no such thing as out of cash. Gov't will just print more.
Corrupt US government🤮
Out of cash, but not out of credit cards. Swipe up and down, up and down!
It is amazing consumers have taken on so much debt to cover their life style. Corporations buy back of stock to boast executive stock compensation. Consumer behavior and myopic corporate behavior will increase the severity of this down turn.
Ladies and Gentlemen, that is called "Bidenomics"
Experts say "Recession is almost certain", but Dow Jones, NASDAQ, and S&P 500 are going up always.
What's wrong? What will happen?
Institutions are pushing up the prices in the stock market to sell to the unsuspecting who "feel" like the market is gonna continue to go up.
They could me free stuff. Still wouldn’t go there.
I am watching for sales I am buying meat like crazy both Fred Myers and Walmart are having huge meat sales
Price greedy
It will bring the CPI down, but only because they lie about CPI being a measure of "inflation." Inflation is now - puffing up the SPX now, and will effect consumer prices 18+ months from now. Supply and demand = demand down, prices down. Inflation = supply of *currency* down, prices down. Super simple distinction.
If you shop at Target, probably you will be a rip off 🎯 target by them.
Cashed and trashed!
My wife's leasing company is cutting pay package for their sales staff.
You will soon need to stop leasing your wire. 😂
They are all hoarding it
I been Target and Walmart twice in my life. I like to make Bezos rich ~
Wasn’t the market suppose to crash the other day? Tomorrow’s video should be about the sky falling.
👍🤔👌
Just gold can save us
